It is one of the best polytechnic colleges.
Placements: Our college has conducted many placement interviews. It has helped many people get placements in different organisations. Recruiting companies provided good offers and a salary package of 4 LPA. Those who have passed 6 semesters are eligible for placements. Many of my friends got placed after passing out from here. Our TPO was working hard to get great placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: Facilities were good. There was no Wi-Fi in the college. Classrooms were good and clean. There was a huge ground for encouraging sports. There was no hostel for students. The canteen facilities were fine. There were lots of academic books in the library. All facilities and the infrastructure of our college were excellent, including the library, equipment in the lab, and sports ground.
Faculty: My bond with every teacher was great. They were very helpful and supportive. They treated every student the same and guided us in the right direction in our academics and lives.
Other: We have participated in different activities like annual sports, tech fest, cultural fest, annual tech quiz, teachers' day celebration, Viswakarma Puja, freshers' day, farewell ceremony, etc. It's located in the Chas Road area in Purulia District. It's a government college with a huge percentage of placements, so it's worthwhile. Teachers and students are constantly involved in various kinds of activities to make campus life more happening.

College has bad infrastructure, hostel and canteen inside campus.
Placements: Around 70% of students placed in our course. The highest salary package is 2 LPA, the average salary package is 1.5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1 LPA. Barak Valley Cements, SEW Infra Ltd, and Amrit Cement are the top recruiters. Around 40% were placed in companies like APDCL, Jain Udyog, Silchar, and Star Cement Ltd for the roles of JE, IT assistant, and FITTER, Foreman.
Infrastructure: Physics lab, Chemistry lab, and Engineering Mechanics Lab are available in the college. The quality of supplies is the best of other Polytechnic Colleges. It has good medical facilities on the campus with a government doctor. Our college organises various sports and games in techno fests.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified with M.Tech, M.Sc., and Ph.D. and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and students are well-trained with basics from the 1st and 2nd semesters. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and the pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: I chose this course as the Scope for this Job is better. Some computer technology, Technofests, General Election, Girls Scholarship, Medical hostel, etc. are provided.

College review of Silchar Polytechnic.
Placements: My course is Mechanical Engineering in Diploma. Our batchmates are very good. The course and teachers are mostly helpful and do their job quietly. The highest package is 5 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA. Most of the companies that recruit are in the automobile or construction sectors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is quite positive, and the hostel situation is also acceptable. The hostel is not well-architected or green, and cleanliness could be improved, but it is very affordable. The food in the hostel is decent, and sports activities are quite happening every two weeks.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, with most holding M.Tech degrees. The faculty is also helpful, providing industrial teaching and skill development. Semester exams are not too difficult, but the question paper analysis is quite tough.
Other: The curricular activities in this college are better than those in other colleges. I recommend everyone to take admission in this college to make their lives easier. The campus is cleaner than in other colleges.

I was absolutely satisfied with our college.
Placements: Every year not many students get placements from our college due to the competition. The highest salary package offered was also 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. This year I was passed out, but a few of the students got this opportunity. Many of the students didn't get jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good, and the labs were fine. All the essential equipment were available there. Classrooms were good as we got a peaceful environment there. The hostel facility is also good. I have not stayed in it, but I got to hear about that from my friends.
Faculty: Teachers here were very qualified and taught us everything they could. I am actually satisfied with the teachers as I got to learn many things from them. Semester exams were tough enough to make us well educated. Our college also makes students practically ready to face the situation in real life.
Other: I have chosen this course as I found it very perfect for me related to my real life. I was very interested in this course. If the placement facilities will be more genuine in future, it would really help students.

My overall experience about the institute is good. The studies of this institute are good.
Placements: 100 percent of students got internships from our course. The job options in the private sector include junior mechanical/civil/electrical/etc. Engineer, Junior Construction Engineer, IT Assistant, Electrical Assistant, etc. are the top roles offered. Unitech, TCS, Wipro, Bajaj Auto, TATA Power, L&T, etc. are the top recruiters. The candidates can also go for government jobs after Polytechnic.
Infrastructure: College Infrastructure:
1. Classrooms/lecture halls. The college has an adequate number of spacious, well-lit, well-ventilated, furnished classrooms, which can accommodate more than 90 students with the best seating arrangements to facilitate proper teacher-student interaction.
2. Administration block.
3. Auditorium.
4. Playground.
5. Labs.
6. Medical Facilities.
7. The facilities in our hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are average.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Our society cannot function without civil engineers. Everything around us, from roads, buildings, bridges, and drainage systems, is expertly designed and crafted by civil engineers. They have a direct impact on society, as without these infrastructures, the world cannot go about its everyday life. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Yes, the semester exams are difficult.
Other: I chose this course to become a civil engineer. A detailed syllabus is a valuable learning tool for students and lessens their initial anxieties about the course. Provide basic information. Describe the prerequisites for the course. Give an overview of the course's purpose. State the general learning goals or objective.

Campus is big and naturally beautiful. Medical facilities are available. We have a big playground for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. In our course, we have six-semester exams. Exams are a bit hard. Pass percentage is 60%-70%. Course curriculum is relevant, and it make students industry-ready.
