Placements: There are no facilities for placements at all but the fee is less and the environment is important for students to focus on their studies. Honestly, I don't like the infrastructure of classrooms at all. Although they are building some new and better ones.
Placements: There were different cut-offs for different castes of students. Students with scores above 60% were placed in this college. According to student's scores, they were allotted honors or general courses in their respective courses. Students who scored good marks in the exams got internships.
Placements: Rarely any students gets placed in the B.Com. department in Siliguri college of commerce. The highest package is around 1.8 lacs per annum. The lowest package is around 72 thousand per year. No big or giant companies hire any students from Siliguri College of Commerce.
Placements: In our college Siliguri college of commerce, there is no placement cell for Bachelor of commerce and approximately, only 10-20% of total students getting place every year The highest package of Siliguri college of commerce would be approximately 3 LPA and minimum 0.96 LPA.
Placements: Top recruiting companies like the State Bank of India, the IBPS Reserve Bank of India, TCS, etc., visit our campus. About 20% of students get internships at Tata Motors. Top roles offered are tax consultant, company secretary, chartered accountant, financial advisor, etc.
Placements: Siliguri College is a government college. The placement rate is not so great; it’s just okay for taking a degree. Placement options were not available in the college. I can’t just beat around the bush, but there were no options for placement.
Placements: There are more than 200 seats in honors, and the minimum cutoff mark is 75%. There are no placement chances. The highest salary offered is Rs 75,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 15,000 per month. The top recruiting company is Tata.
Placements: Our college mates are good, all get above 85 in their 12th exam, and I also get the same that's why I am pursuing B.Com honors in accountancy. The placements should be good because I am new to this college.
Placements: It is a government college, so there are no companies that come for internships. None of the students will get a salary, and you just get only marks and a mark sheet with you to search for a job after completing your course as it is a city college and not a huge one.
Placements: The placements are not provided by the college. We have to seek jobs off-campus based on our skills. There is no placement cell in the college. So, students should not be expecting job opportunities from the college. Not even internship opportunities are provided by the college.
Placements: Around 30-40% of the students get placed in our course. Every year, students get placed in average companies with a decent amount of salary package ranging between 3 LPA - 10 LPA. The scope of internships is very less in our college as there are very less opportunities.
Placements: It is one of the most recognised colleges which is located in North Bengal. At the end of the 5th semester, some of the companies like LIC and banking companies visit here and recruit a few talented students. About 70% of the students get placements in the college campus.
Placements: As I heard, around 10-15% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys and IBM visit our college for placements. Top roles like middle-level managerial positions like HR are offered to the students. About 10% of the students from our course got an internship in various companies.
Placements: The placement here is next to negligible. In my three years of college, I never heard about placements or any opportunity for placements. Instead of placements, you can do any part time job or any professional course as it is a night college and they will not interfere.
Placements: This college is one of the oldest colleges in Siliguri, and it is affiliated to North Bengal University. The college is good, but it does not provide placements or internship in B.Com course. So basically I don't have any idea about placements as I have completed my graduation. It might provide a master degree for students.
Placements: The placement records of our college are quite poor. Most of the students get placed by learning other courses at the same time. If you focus only on the course, then it is not possible to get placements. We take some technical training both online and offline, which help us in getting placements. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Local coaching centres and academic institutions like GDI, ISOEH Siliguri are among the top recruiters....
Placements: Campus placement drives are not conducted in our college. But due to the good teaching faculty and a good study environment, students who pass out from the college are very confident, talented and well trained. So, it becomes a bit easier for them to get placed compared to the students of other colleges and universities. Sometimes, students are recruited by offsite campusing. Industrial training and excursions are organised for students.
Placements: None of the companies come to the college for placements, and there is no placement committee in the college. This college is only for those people who just want to get a degree. In the last 10-15 years or more, no placements have been provided by the college, and there is no scope for it in the long term also. This college is suitable only for those who want to do some other course alongside.
