Best ROI, teaching, and college life.
Placements: In our 2022 batch, there are opportunities in mass numbers, and big IT firms are hiring on a large scale. 90% of the students in our batch got placed and the remaining 10% started their own businesses. They give a 3.8 lac package. Big firms like Amazon, Infocentre, Microsoft, Google, and Accenture hire many students from our institute. The average package is 4.5 lacs; internships are given but all students preferred jobs over internships. Roles offered are consultant, software developer, and analyst.
Infrastructure: The campus isn't big but there are many clubs and activities going on on campus. The campus has free Wi-Fi so students can learn online. The library is good; any student can take books by just showing their ID card. Sinhgad hostel is very big; we have to share rooms with friends. 3 students get one room with 3 beds, 1 fan, 2 tables, and 3 cupboards. Hostel food is disappointing; it is not good in quality or quantity. Canteen food is good but expensive; tea and breakfast (idli, dosa, samosas, patties) are on the menu.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and I like to thank alumni and senior students. Alumni are very helpful; they give guidance on face placement, even referring us to there organization. Teachers are Ph.D.-qualified. SPPU Pune University is deciding on our academic calendar, syllabus and exam. The best syllabus has ML, Ai and deep learning technologies that are the future of the digital world. Semester exams are hard, but 80% of students are all clear every semester.
Other: The fee is affordable at 90,000 for two years and caste students get benefits. Open panjabrao and EBS is given.

I have a lot of memories in this college.
Placements: Placements of the college are average. Overall, the college has 350 students out of which 200 students got placed in the campus placements for the batch of 2022. The highest package offered was around 12 LPA and the average was 5 LPA with the lowest package being 3 LPA. Salesforce, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Tata Technologies etc. are main hiring companies. Internship offers by startups and local companies offer a salary of ₹15,000. Roles offered are that of cloud engineer, software developer, Data analyst etc.
Infrastructure: College fees is around 1.2 lacs per year in which they provide good facilities to the students. They create free superset accounts for the students. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. Labs are good but some PCs don't have a keyboard or mouse. College has it’s own library but the library hours are very less. If we compare the hostel and the PGs, the hostel has better options with the fees being less than that of the PG, also they provide good quality of food. We have 2 canteens in the campus. The surroundings of the college has many shops and cafes.
Faculty: The teachers first priority is to get the students placed with a good package. They try their best to improve our communication and other soft skills. The teachers conduct weekly exams on companies’ aptitude tests. Pune University is the best university that designs our curriculum including many trending topics. University papers are always tough and one needs a good preparation for clearing the exams.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and very bad placement.
Placements: SIOM placed only 5% of their students. The highest package is 6 LPA; only 5 students get this. NICE is the top recruiting company. Networking and quality assurance are the top roles offered. No good company will come to this college. Very bad college for placement; no teachers or professors are good. Time and money are wasted here.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for the college student. The hostel facility is good for batch hot water and fresh water is available for drinking. The messaging system is good. It provides two meals per day at 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., which are both satisfactory. The hostel provides us with space for four students. Beds are good; 4 tables and 4 racks are provided by the hostel. The cleaner cleans your room every 3 days, and the cleaning is good. The strength of the student is good.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and many teachers are not. Teaching quality is bad. You prepare yourself for the exam and placement. It is not really preparing you for industry. The semester exam is easy; you only have to read the previous year's paper for a passing score. Some faculty are good at helping you pass the exam and get ready for placement. The total number of marks is 70; you have to score a minimum .
Other: The MCA course is good for you because a lot of opportunities are available. Web development MEARN is in demand; Spring Boot Java, Django Python, and PHP are in demand; DSA is very important for a 4- to 5-year project.

Good placements in the year of 2022.
Placements: I agree that the college provides job opportunities to a lot of students, but even those who get placed off-campus are listed under on-campus placements by the college management. 40% students got on-campus placements and 20% students got job offers through off-campus drives. Most of the students got placed in HCL Tech, Nagpur and Infosys, Mysore. Internships were offered by aloha tech and inforigin in web development and cloud computing.
Infrastructure: College fest, Sinhgad karandak, in the most celebrated event which is held around Jan-Feb of every year. We have separate floors for all the departments which cause us to face lift issues a lot many times. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel and the library. Our classrooms are very big having many windows, projectors and boards. Hostel is seperate for boys and girls. Food quality is not good but the canteen’s food is of good quality.
Faculty: In our auditorium, the management used to organize at least one expert talk session related to career development, army, personality development, etc. The teachers are very helpful and always supportive. Course curriculum is relevant to the industries having many programming languages. A semester runs for 4 months having back to back exams being conducted.

Review of SIOM - Sinhgad Institute of Management.
Placements: Last year placements were good but this year, poor placements. In my batch, 15 students are placed by college, 7 students secure jobs from off-campus. College adds them to the placed list. But more students remain jobless, this is very frustrating. The average package they offer is 3.5 LPA. Internships are given, but they terminate many students after completion of the period. Horrible situation.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure and campus building are decent, with separate buildings for MBA and MCA. But we have a combined campus and sports ground. Wi-Fi is also available on campus, but the downloading speed is very low. Classrooms are big. The hostel is on campus, but I stayed in a flat because of the food. They have poor quality food. We complained many times to hostel management, but no action is taken.
Faculty: There are many vacancies in SAP, data science, and machine learning, but in college, they teach Python, Java, and web development. There is a gap between the curriculum and industrial requirements; they are not able to fulfil it. Faculty members are very helpful; their teaching quality is good. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty; you need 40% to pass.
Other: I think I made a mistake in choosing college and course. I will advise students to go through all colleges, read alumni reviews, then take admission.

    Not satisfied with placement.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities. Remember, only 6 companies conduct on-campus hiring on our campus, of which 13 students out of 60 got placed. Some are even placed in service desk roles. Cognizant, Reliance Jio, Aloha Technologies, TCS (off campus), and a few more are coming for campus drives. No internship package is from 3 lac to 6.5 lac per year.
Infrastructure: I do not like campus, like here students get frustrated by lectures and assignments; they have not organized any visits or trips. The college infrastructure is decent, but some benches are broken. Wi-Fi speed was too low no interest to use it. Library is decent; they have all the books. The hostel is bad; the rooms are small, the food is very bad, and no proper cleaning got done. The canteen food was good; they have AC. Sports ground is big, but there are no sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers schedule lectures according to their mood and do not follow the academic calendar of the university. Even management changed the class test date at the last moment. In every event, there is no coordination in management. The course teaches old technologies that are not even used today. They need to change the whole curriculum. Semester exams are held twice a year, in the summer and winter.
