SP College Review- Really good infrastructure and facilities .

Placements: The college placement is good. About 80% of students get placements whose CGPA is good. Various companies come to college to give placements to students. The highest package is 8 LPA and the lowest package is 3.6 LPA. You need to have a CGPA above 8 or more for a good package and placement.

Great campus, great crowd, and great college life, but needs improvement in the administration.

Placements: The placements are average. Packages are average or below. Few people are able to get good or satisfactory packages. The placement cell is often inactive for a few days here and there. The companies coming in for recruitment are local. I see a lot of scope for updating.

A good college with big campus.

Placements: The placement is average. I have not yet graduated from this college. There is a separate placement cell department. The placement cell is not very good or well developed. The highest annual salary offered is between 4 and 4.5 lacs. The most affordable package is $25,000 per year.

There are many roles offered in our course according to the skills of the students.

I am satisfied because of its faculty members and placements.

Placements: Campus interviews were only for undergraduate students. If students core first class then they were eligible for campus interviews. Many top recruiting companies visit our college to hire students. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA.

Really good college festivals are celebrated.

Placements: Good amount of placements are offered with many reputed companies. You can give an interview after 3rd semester. Most companies visited are Tcs, Gemini. The highest package is around 6 lacs and the average is 3 to 3.5 lacs. About 30% of students get placements. My plan is to find a job in Accounting.

It is one of the best colleges in Pune for B.Sc.

Placements: Not many students with just B.Sc. degree got placed through college since there are barely any companies willing to hire a person with just a bachelor's degree with no work experience. You can find quite a good job on your own since you're from SP College. But most of the students I know chose to continue with M.Sc. If one is looking for a job after B.Sc. itself, then they have to do it on their own, as per my knowledge about SP College.

Teachers are very good and understanding.

Placements: At least there were 76 students in our batch. About 10% of the students got placements, and 20% of the students got selected at IITs for higher studies such as a master of science in chemistry. I suggest not to expect a job after B.Sc chemistry, so students have to do M.Sc. After that, students can do M.Sc from IIT after B.Sc chemistry from SP college.

Overall, it's a good college and students can have a good college life here.

Placements: As I'm still pursuing my graduation, I can say least about placements. But jobs are available after graduation as well as post-graduation. The average salary one can get from science stream after graduation is 3 lacs per annum and after post-graduation, it may rise up to 5 LPA to 6 lacs per annum. There are preferences for college students to get a job in the college itself as teaching faculty after PG.

This college is top in Pune, very nice campus and systematic infrastructure of the college.

Placements: We have very good placements in our college. For your better future, maximum multinational or national companies come for placements in our college. As a graduation level college, this placement is useful for everyone. It is not a big level college, but the placements are good compared to the other colleges in the city.

Good teaching faculty but problem with the crowd.

Placements: Campus Placement is not that good.3-4 companies visit the B.Com department. The reliance on campus placement should not be high. When u go and Enquire about the companies arrival then no assurance is given. They just tell that they will inform you whenever the company will come. If you don't go through the first 2 companies then your chances of getting campus placement is very minimum.

A satisfactory college in terms of extracurricular activities.

Placements: There are not so good placement opportunities. Around 25% of students of my batch were placed in different companies. The highest package was of 1.2 lacs per annum, and the lowest was of Rs. 80,000. Generally, the students were placed for accounting roles. There was no internship provided by the college. The placement training was provided.

SP College, Pune. The place of perfect balance of education, fun and awesome college diaries

Placements: There are no direct placements. The placement cell of the college gives opportunities to students for earning by providing jobs in the college itself. Earn and learn is the scheme of Pune University which is effectively organised. Most of the students from the poor background work for the college.

I was satisfied with the life that gave me a whole new direction to the way I perceive things.

Placements: At first, we were a batch of approximately 150 students. The major recruiting companies were Cipla and Mankind. Nearly 10% of students were placed from our batch. From my contacts, nearly 27 students were doing internships while pursuing 3rd year. The top role offered was junior directorial manager.

I am highly satisfied with faculty members, course curriculum and overall student life.

Placements: The average salary package offered here is up to 2 LPA, but every student doesn't attend placements in order to pursue their higher education. About 20% of the students opt for employment opportunities for the roles in the marketing domain, technical analyst and also wonderful opportunity in research field and technology.
