SNGIST is a student-friendly campus and is ragging-free.

Placements: Not many students got a chance to attend interviews. None of the top companies was a part of the placement programme. From our batch, only 4-5 students got placed. From four departments, only 5-10 students got a chance to attend the placement programme. Out of that, only 4-5 students were placed.

I don't recommend this college for those who are really interested in learning.

Placements: For our batch the placements were few compared to our seniors. Very few students got placed this year (30%). The highest offered salary was 50,000 and the lowest offered was 6,000. The companies that visited our college include Byjus app, Supportsages, Infocom, ASAP and Studyspring. The roles offered were of sales associate, BPO rolesand junior developer role. The students were asked to complete internship by their own during semester breaks. Yes there is a placement cell but of very little use....

A review of SNGIST, from a student of the very first batch.

Placements: For civil engineering, the placement is relatively very low. No one in the 2010-2014 batch got any placements. However, the computer science and electronics engineering streams get comparatively good placements. Since we were the first batch of the college, less number of companies came for placement during 2014. We are expecting a lot of placements in the coming years.

Needs to improve on placements.

Placements: I was from the 2014 -16 batch of MBA. When it comes to career, this college is not recommended to the students because there is no such type of placement facility as said by the college. Only a few companies (mostly looking for a salesman or even call centres) will come and you can count the companies as it won't be above 10. If you are really looking for a good job with life-changing opportunities, better avoid this college but this is the best place to have fun. ...

Classes at SNGIST are interactive with a mix of lectures, case studies and presentations. Internal and external exams get equal weightage. Tests are conducted regularly. No handouts are given to students but most teachers share their presentations. It have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty members. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to choose among interdisciplinary subjects. Its huge 550 acres of green campus provides an awesome range of facilities & infrastructur...

SNGCET is an above average engineering college with high end infrastructures, lab facilities and other necessities including well equipped boys and girls hostel, compared to other nearby engineering colleges in and around the district. The faculty and their expertise ranges between below average to average, and you can see some superior Head of Departments and professors with top notch knowledge at the same time. Classrooms, Labs, Library etc. possess high quality. The Library has a huge collec...

Our college has a good infrastructure but lacks behind in faculty members and internship services.

Placements: I have chosen mechanical engineering as my course. Currently, I am in my third of the 5th semester. Our college offers less placements and less internships for students. The top course offered here is automobile engineering, while the lowest course is electronics and communication engineering.
