Indus University - Engineering

Placements: Placements of my batch was just around 25 to 30%. Exact details of the paypackages can not be given. The scenario are said to be changed after the arrival of a new placement department. The students who got placement were offered trainee engineer, engineer, Marketing officer. All the students got internship (includes off-campus and on-campus) . No stipend was offered to anyone (as per my knowledge). 25 - 30% of the students got internship through faculty references and guidance, no internship wa...

Average college looking at the present fee and placements for general stream, but worth it for E&I

Placements: The placement of our batch was good and almost 95% students were placed in our batch. 1 or 2 were remaining and that too due to some personal reasons. The highest package was around 12 lacs and the lowest was around 3 lacs. The average comes out to be around 6 lacs. The companies were GAIL, Infi, Wipro, DIACL, Adani, Protivity, Empire, E&Y, Sabarmati Gas, Gujarat Gas, etc. Roles like consultant, trainee, manager, auditing etc. were offered. Almost 100 % got the internship but very few people got...

Great infrastructure and facilities. Worth taking admission for MBA in energy & infrastructure.

Only 2-3 companies gave Rs. 6000 as a sti...

2 years in PDPU transform and mould your personality.

Placements: This is one of those rare colleges that boasts a record of 100% placements every year. More than 30 reputed companies visit the campus each year and the average package suits the institution based on the return on investments. Moreover, placements here are a student driven activity with them acting as volunteers. The placement committee does all the pre-placement presentations also.

SPM was a very good experience and it has helped me a lot in moving further in MT professional career. Focus on Oil & Gas (then) and Energy and Infrastructure (now) helps you learn a lot more about this complex sector. You get strong understanding of upstream, mid-stream and downstream sector, which helps you get into your role faster. For people who come from outside the industry, this course helps them talk the language. Placement scenario is quite decent. There are no problems for 80 % of stu...

Rigorous MBA curriculum ensures learning both inside & outside of the classroom. Guest lectures from industry professionals & experts help us understand the markets better. Professors at SPM are highly knowledgeable and best in their fields. Apart from academics we also get time to have some fun. Many activities are going on round the year in the university. There are various clubs like- MARCOM, Finnacle, Chai ki Tapri etc, sports meet, cultural fests and the annual extravaganza known as FLARE....

It has a sector specific MBA course for energy management which very few universities in India provide. Faculties are very good and infrastructure and facilities are excellent. It is a completely student driven college where you can do anything in your own way in a completely democratic manner.

Good college. Best faculty for Marketing Subject: Prof. Pramod Paliwal. Dr Satish Pandey is teaching HRM & OB. True mentor Dr, Sudhir Yadav. Academic coordinator is one of the best person. That time visiting faculty members were Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr Prasoon Agarwal, Dr. Amit Karna, Prof. Shailesh Gandhi, Adv. DG Shukla etc. Placement was not bad. Course content is excellent and dynamic.
