It is a good college for an amazing experience.
Placements: The college provides very good placements. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, and we get JDs regularly. It depends on how you perform in the interviews. It may take some time, but ultimately, you get a good job offer. You can get a good placement in Dubai, India, or Singapore. Getting placements in Sydney is not possible.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing. There are fully equipped classrooms, and they are comfortable to study. They are one of the best in providing world-class infrastructure. There are good labs and a world-class library. You can have access to all the books online as well. Canteen is also good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are one of the best. All teachers are qualified and well prepared to conduct sessions. Most of them have working experience as well. We do get industry exposure. The college conducts industrial visits regularly. The course curriculum is hectic, fast-paced and very challenging.

Review of SP Jain School of Global Management, Mumbai.
Placements: Students are offered placements in Dubai, Singapore, and in India. In Dubai, placements are great for supply chain and logistics students and limited offers to marketing and finance students. While the stipend for the internship is less, and after post-conversion, the salary offered is quite high. The average salary is around AED 9,000 per month. In Singapore, internships offered a decent stipend. However, there was little to no chance for job conversions, and also the firms that came for placement were mostly the start-ups. Non of the reputed companies visited our college for placements of our batch. Overall, the placements were disappointing. The average stipend offered was SGD 1,000 per month. In India, the roles offered were both full time, as well as internships. While the internship stipend was low, annual salary packages for full-time roles were decent. The average salary package offered for the full-time role was INR 10,00,000 LPA.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, this B-school stands out. It owns heritage campus in Singapore, and the one in Dubai, which is huge as well. Although the Sydney campus is shared with another B-school, there is no compromise on facilities. Hostel rooms are fully furnished and comfortable.
Faculty: The course is designed keeping into consideration the average student, and there could be times when one could feel its mere repetition of what is done previously. However, there is a major emphasis on the practical knowledge and allows students to get hands-on experience of corporate life by experiences shared by faculty and the assignments given.

Great learning support with the best infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are pretty well for our batch. 60% of the total students in my batch have got internship offers in cities like Mumbai, Singapore and Dubai. The highest internship stipend is 80,000 INR per month. Yes, there is a placement cell in our college.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in our college are world-class and our college is ranked 2 on the Wall-Street Journal in terms of infrastructure for a one-year MBA programme. The classrooms, labs and hostel rooms are perfect for the students with a good quality of food being served in the canteens.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are visiting faculty and teacher come from the globe with well-diversified culture. The teachers believe in practical aspects rather than theoretical ones and we practise plenty of case studies and boardroom discussion. The course is very useful.
Other: Most of the crowd is Indians for the MBA programme, some of them come from south-east Asian countries. The college completely believes in a blend of studies and extra-curricular activities and conduct regular activities for the students. Though, there is no official fest in our college like other colleges as the course is very intensive. But the college gives a great experience of how the business is done in the most financial hubs in the world.

What I learnt with my world tour of an MBA
Placements: Placements were decent, with 50% of the batch being placed before the program ended. Within 3 months, 100% batch was placed. It is a rolling placement, which means, as and when companies show interest, the Job Description is floated in the batch. There is no placement week as is traditionally present in Indian B school SPJSGM pushes candidates to also find a job on their own, just like universities abroad. The view here is that the education has made you self reliant and empowered you, getting a job is not the end goal.
Infrastructure: It has very well-maintained classrooms and hostels except for Dubai campus hostel location, everything was above average and worth it. Sydney hostels were the best. Meals are not part of the fee as it is the tradition in any university abroad. Library is top notch in all 3 campuses. Sports, Gym and gaming rooms are present in all 3 campuses.
Faculty: Faculty is mostly flown in from various parts of the world. Had the opportunity to learn from Professors from ISB, NTU and Macquarie University among others. Some brilliant in house faculty as well. Faculty still provides help, even after graduation. Teaching methods were not traditional. Use of technology is prominent in this school. E-books were used for 90% of the subjects, case studies, presentation method of teaching. We also had various industry visits in each of the cities- Singapore, Sydney and Dubai. The best outside classroom learning was through "Real World Skills" session held in Sydney which taught us more important skills- negotiation, networking etc.

Other: The college really stands in terms of the quality of the faculty which teaches here. Some of them are veterans in their subjects while some have been consultants for many big companies over their tenure. The teaching is case-based, on the basis of numerous simulations and of course the peer learning. Although, there are some flaws in the system, but the college is slowly gaining traction in terms of placements. The placements do continue till 2 to 3 months after graduation, but none from the previous batches have so far been left unplaced. It would be a good experience as one gets an exposure of studying in the 4 major hubs of the Asia-Pacific and the Middle-East region.
