Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what emerges:

    * Industry connections and job prospects: Despite mixed reviews about placements, some students have reported securing high-paying jobs (up to INR12 Lacs per annum) and internships with reputed organizations.
    * Faculty expertise: Many reviewers praise the faculty's knowledge, experience, and willingness to help students. Some mention that the courses are designed to prepare students for industry requirements.
    * Infrastructure and amenities: While the campus infrastructure may need improvements, the college provides basic amenities like libraries, laboratories, and recreational spaces.
    * Course relevance and flexibility: Some students appreciate the relevance of the course material and the flexibility to choose electives that align with their interests.

    However, some concerns mentioned include:

    Let's build our country together.
Placements: Placement happens, but sometimes it's a rare scenario, mostly benefiting architecture students. Firstly, we have to do at least two internships, each lasting a minimum of 6 months. Deutsche International, Turba Institute, and many government municipal corporations offer internships. Transport planning interns are in high demand. Stipends are also offered, always above 15,000 INR, but once you get a full-time job, the package is very high.
Infrastructure: The college building includes a dance room, music room, sports room, player room, survey lab, art lab, GIS lab, computer lab, central library, and auditorium. There are several open-air theaters on campus. No Wi-Fi is available; it is only for management. The hostel rooms are newly constructed. If someone wants to stay in a room, there are many flats available in nearby residential areas. But PGs are not easily available in this area. Food is provided as lunch, breakfast, and dinner, with high-protein meals served.
Faculty: Almost every faculty member has completed their Masters; most of them have Ph.D.s. There are 15 faculty members who teach different subjects. Most of them have 10 years of experience; all are quite experienced. In the course, every semester is for 4 months; after 2 months, mid-semester exams happen. The course aims to develop countries' infrastructure and transport, which is helpful in nation-building. Exams are of medium difficulty; anyone can easily pass.
Other: This course has a huge scope in upcoming years, as India is a developing nation that requires more planning people. That's the reason for choosing this course.

Management from SPA was a really great experience.
Placements: The placement in our college is not that great when it comes to our department or course MEM. The percentage of students that get placed in our department stands at 80%, and the highest and lowest packages are not known to us because the university is reluctant to disclose them to us, and the students also have to apply for internships themselves.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided or available to us in our course or department are just necessities, and they are not much different from other colleges or universities. There is no mess facility in our hostel, and the infrastructure of the hostel is just decent and not that great.
Faculty: The teachers in our college and our department have good knowledge about the subjects, are qualified from good colleges, and have a good industry background. The course curriculum is relevant only for a few subjects and not all of them. The pass percentage at our college is 99%.

    The teachers are well-qualified.
Placements: The highest package offered by the companies is around Rs 7,00,000 per annum for this course. The average package offered by the companies is around Rs 5,50,000 per annum for this course. The college also provides internships to the students with a fixed stipend.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility available for the students in classrooms as well as on the campus. There is a well-stocked library with a wide range of books, journals, and other study materials for the students. The college provides free medical facilities to the students.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in nature and guide the students for the future as well as for their careers. The teachers are well-qualified and have great knowledge in their domain. This course makes the students industry-ready as well as gives a fair overview of the industry.

The college memories are worth sharing and cannot be expressed in this short note.
Placements: 70% of my batch mates are placed and the minimum package offered is 6 lacs per annum and the maximum is 12 lacs per annum. About 70 members are placed in 17 multi-national companies around the country. About 20 members are placed at the consultancy firms for the state and central governments.
Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with infrastructure and have a good boarding and lodging facilities. The well-equipped computer labs and the working environment of the campus, help students ease their work pressure and improve their performance to excel in the curriculum.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are greatly knowledgeable and have a great teaching and also understand the ability of the student to perform. They make the course really interesting and more valuable for the competitive industry. The examples quoted help student to understand the concepts to very clearly and use them in our practical theories.
Other: Have freedom of speech and student friendly administration so as to keep the college environment vibrant and lively. Few faculty members are yet to improve their teaching skills and knowledge to reach to the expectations of the students.

    . Just another honest review.
Placements: Placements in a college of architecture and planning are not required. The students here are well-equipped with the necessary means to get a job on their own means and of their own choice. From my experience, even if placements are offered, the students who get selected do not take up the offer and those who do, do not last long in the same place, mainly because of the nature of the job we do. Other than for this, the faculty do their best to help the students in all ways possible, such as getting references for jobs, etc.
Infrastructure: The construction of the new campus took longer than expected, but even in the leased campus, facilities were decent enough, though the hostels of the time left more in demand. Requests for improvement in the infrastructure that was being provided were always taken seriously. One can say that given the situation and resources to deal with, the institute and the management did the best it could.
Faculty: The faculty was probably the best, with a decent mix of older professors, who had great knowledge, with the younger assistant professors providing the required energy and a modern take on the syllabus. In addition to this, the curriculum was through, with a wide range of electives to ensure that our interests in specific areas were also catered to.
Other: Even with a lack of a permanent campus to call its own, the required atmosphere was created to provide all students to express themselves, with a sense of belonging, and looking back it fills one with pleasant nostalgia.

SPAV - the planning school's review.
Placements: For my batch, none of the placements was provided by the college so far after taking our resumes and other details many a time. Only six out of the 30 students were placed from my senior's batch. Andhra Pradesh government has approached this college for certain projects, but none of them progressed to the placement or the real projects. Only six of them were mentioned before giving the priority to Telugu speaking students despite a central government university, and here, students are coming from all over India.
Infrastructure: The new college campus is still in the development mode since 2008, and only the college hostels have been completed recently and opened in July 2017. Since then, our college is in a far-off highway place from the city in a rented place supposedly a hospital. The sports facilities are good, I would say, as compared those of the to the other colleges. A medical room is there with a doctor visiting twice every week. The canteen is not good. We have a well-maitianed prayer room. The cultural activities are taken care of by the students on their own with their own initiatives.
Faculty: Only a few of the faculty members are too good and can be counted on fingers and others are lazy or incapable of teaching the subjects given to them. Most of them leave the things to the students to learn on their own through the internet or group study. A few of them are too arrogant, and you can't even argue as it will reflect in your internal marks.
Other: The crowd is diverse as the students are coming from all over India. A majority of the students belongs to South India and of course Andhra Pradesh. The connectivity is there in terms of auto rickshaws, either sharing or private and the buses, but it is difficult to get one at the night time after 7 PM or 8 PM. It is situated at 12 KMS from the city. There is nothing in the surroundings except a petrol pump, a restaurant, a general store, bus stand and NH-4. The fest conducted every year is named as Inyan, and the students celebrate certain festivals pertaining to different states of India.
