Review of Sreegopal Banerjee College.
Placements: Very few students are placed in our college, and students prefer government job preparations after pursuing this course. Some students in the geography department are placed in local sectors, and the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. In our degree course, there are no internships for students.
Infrastructure: Our Bengali department is the most reputed. This college has various modern laboratories and equipment. Wi-Fi facility is enabled on campus. The hostel facility is good. The food served in the hostel is also better. It provides a gym facility, and other sports and cultural groups are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and they are knowledgeable in their sectors. The course is well planned and also some regular basic training occurred. Students have internal and semester exams as well, and the difficulty level is medium. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: This college is affiliated with the University of Burdwan. The fresher's party is also conducted every year.

Sreegopal Banarjee college is a friendly space to pursue your degree.
Placements: Few students are placed from our college, most are from off-campus. The average package offered up to 2-3 LPA. I think students get internships rarely. Only students who are preparing for WBCS, UPSC, and other SSC exams choose this college for further studies.
Infrastructure: Not a world-class infrastructure. But quite good, as the location is remote from Kolkata. Our college doesn't have a hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are not so good. They have good degrees but do not have top-quality teaching skills. You have to take tuition for better results. This is a BURDWAN university-affiliated college. The semester exams are also taken by BU. The course is very relevant, for the betterment of our knowledge. But industry preparations are gradually increasing from time to time. Companies like Bata, and Bajaj come for small training.
Other: I chose this course because it's in neighboring places. I am preparing for NDA.

Join this college to get good education and experience.
Placements: About 35-40% of students are in our course. The minimum salary for this course is Rs.20000 per month. Many local companies visit our college every year. Many charter accountants pass out from our college. Every annual function, we meet them and they share their thoughts about our college.
Infrastructure: We have a different library, Wi-Fi, labs, and a common room. We have a nice canteen where we get good quality food and no ragging happened in our college. All seniors and juniors are brothers in our college. We also have an NCC course and every day, students get good training.
Faculty: Our respective teacher takes a lot of responsibility for our exams and other things. We get extra classes before the exam. We have all of our teachers' numbers and whenever we have a problem, we call our teachers. The teachers help us. Our college provides books during exam time.
Other: I want to be a successful person and I am not interested in a job. I try to know about business and other things so I chose the course.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities as well as best faculty members.
Placements: Placements: The placements are one of the best in Sreegopal Banerjee college. The number of students placed is around 93 per cent, which itself is a milestone for such an institute. The average package of 7 Lacs per annum is offered in the last placement season as per the data from the placement cell. Moreover, the placement cell ensures to get everyone is placed or is part of the placement season.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure: The classrooms are not highly modernised but decent, The campus is quite bigger and has good security on it. The college canteen has one of the best food and is the source of lunch for many people. There is a separate department for medical concerns. Sports and games are not the daily part of the curriculum but are invoked when selections are made for big competitions. Overall, it does not have any issue as such.
Faculty: Faculty: My course is B.Sc. in botany (Honours) The faculty here is very good. They will teach the curriculum in the way they know. Doubt clearing sessions are done by teaching faculty members. But most of the time, students are self-dependent apart from the class toppers who are focused every time. The course is very helpful in learning the core concepts and aspects of plant structure, ecosystem, algae, fungi classes, and their habitat and practical classes are very helpful to us conducted by the department. Overall our department has one of the best faculty members among a total of other departments' faculty members. Exam conducted by the department every week after completing some topics and many practice sessions are also conducted by our faculty members were a great help in our final examination.
Other: Overall, the college is for students who can study an above-average curriculum with not much hard work. There are few events and fests which keep us energized. There is no scholarship for admissions. The campus surroundings are very positive and the people are very friendly. One will have some great years of his/her life.

This college is good for the economically weaker students.
Placements: Only a few students get placed in ITC from the chemistry department, and some students from other departments are placed in TCS with a very low salary. The salary offered is about 2 LPA. But in this college, there is an NCC base camp and they provide great training.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are moderate because of their age, but it has a good library and they provide 4 books at a time. The chemistry department has a good quality lab. This college contains a hostel of about 100 capacity and a canteen is also there. It has a good facility for games.
Faculty: This college does not provide an industrial study to the students so they are not ready for industry. Teachers of this college are very friendly, and they all are Ph.D. holders, so they have in-depth knowledge in their subject. Semester exams are easy, and most of the students can pass this exam.
Other: Our chemistry department has a capacity of 22 students per batch. This is the best branch of this college.

It is a very good and friendly college with good teachers and infrastructure.
Placements: The best part of the college is that the teachers are very friendly. The college is a government undertaken, that's why the fees and accommodation are minimal for everyone. There are different types of courses, like B.A. M.A. etc. I would give placements a 2-star. The placements are very bad. Only Tata Group comes here, and the salary offered is very low. 70-80% of the total students pass out every year. One good thing is that there are many government scholarships that help lots of students for higher education. I am a student of B.A. (English), that's why there is no scope in Tata Group or any other company. I have to get a government job. Last I know that it is not a good college for those who are likely for private jobs. For those who want to get a government job and higher education, it is good for them.
Infrastructure: The college has a library, classrooms, labs, an information center, indoor playing area etc. Neat and clean hostel rooms are available. Food is likely to average, and separate mess facilities are available for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The medical team is available on one call, and the hospital is 5-minutes away. The college ground is very big, and we can play all sports there.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and helpful. Teaching quality is excellent. All the modern facilities are available for teaching. The education you get from here is exceptional, so get ready to fight and compete with other students from different colleges or backgrounds.
Other: I chose this course because I like English very much, and the college is near to my house. It has a good reputation in India. All the events like freshers party, farewell party, college fest, friendly tournament, etc., are held here. I don't like that the politics are involved there.
