Is B.E./B.Tech at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT) a Good Choice?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:

    * Good faculty: Many students appreciate the teaching quality, stating that teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and motivating.
    * Relevant curriculum: The course curriculum is deemed relevant to industry requirements, helping students prepare for their careers.
    * Well-equipped infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, including Wi-Fi enabled classrooms, labs, and libraries.
    * Average placements: While not exceptional, around 50-80% of students reportedly get placed in reputed companies, with average salaries ranging from INR3-INR5 Lacs per annum.

    Cons:

    * Placement issues: Some students mention that the college's placement record is not outstanding, and only a select few get placed in top companies.
    * Limited internship opportunities: Only a small proportion of students get internships, and these are often limited to a handful of companies.
    * Limited Wi-Fi connectivity: Despite having Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, some students report poor internet connectivity within the campus.
    * Hostel facilities lacking: Unfortunately, the college does not have hostel facilities for students, forcing those requiring accommodation to seek external options.

    Conclusion:
While Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT) has its strengths, particularly in terms of teaching quality and infrastructure, it falls short in terms of placement and internship opportunities. Therefore, prospective students considering this college should weigh these factors carefully before making an informed decision.

My point of view about our college.
Placements: Our college has a placement department they help us with on-campus placements. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA, which is decent. No MNCs visit our college. We are enhancing our skills to secure internship, and we hope we will grab it next year.
Infrastructure: Our college classrooms are good. There are no complaints about the infrastructure because they are the best. Library is very interesting with lots of books. We can study the books related to our course and explore other streams as well. But they use old edition books. Most of the computers are in poor condition in the computer lab, which is very problematic during studies.
Faculty: Faculty members are teaching well and giving their best as they are highly qualified. Before MSTs and exams, they give assignments and we can't handle it. It is so much of burden during preparations. Course is good, similar to other colleges. There is one more criteria to give an exam, that is 75% attendance.
Other: There is no competition in our college, as most students are not focusing on their skills other than studies.

An enriching campus experience in academics, community, and beyond.
Placements: I am a 3rd-year B.Tech Computer Science student. In our course, around 85% of students have been placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Amazon. Nearly 70% of students secured internships in companies like Microsoft, Google, and startups. The most offered roles are software developer, data analyst, and cloud engineer. Our course provides excellent opportunities for career growth with strong industry connections.
Infrastructure: Facilities like classrooms, library and labs are well settled in our college. It provides the best environment for students. Hostel facilities are very good, and quality of food is excellent. Medical facilities are also very good. If a studnet feels sick, he/she can have medicine as we have hospital facility and transportation is also available. All the facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and have a lot of knowledge. Their teaching quality is excellent. It prepares students for industry work. Semester exams are not difficult if students attend college regularly and focus on their studies. Students will pass with more than 30 marks.

    Review of college Aurobindo sait.
Placements: In our B. Tech CS batch of 60 students, the placement scene was fairly strong. The top package hit 15 Lacs, with an average of 7 Lacs and the lowest at 2 Lacs. Major companies like TCS, Deloitte, Intel, Cisco, Oracle, SAP, and Accenture recruited from our batch. About 80% of students were placed, while 70% landed internships, mostly with firms like TCS and Oracle. Common roles offered included software developers, data analysts, and system engineers.
Infrastructure: The college has good Wi-Fi and well-equipped labs. Classrooms are decent, and the library has a good collection. Hostel facilities are okay, but food in the mess is just average. Medical facilities are basic, and there are a few sports and games options. Overall, it's a decent place to study.
Faculty: The teachers here are mostly helpful and qualified, showing good knowledge in their subjects. The teaching quality varies, but many really care about the students. The course curriculum is pretty relevant and does a decent job of making us industry-ready. Semester exams can be tough, but with enough preparation, they are manageable. The pass percentage is decent, though some students do struggle. Overall, it's a solid experience with room for improvement.
Other: I graduated in the 2023 batch of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I chose this course because I was really interested in technology and programming. The best things about it were the hands-on projects and supportive professors. However, I wish there were more industry connections and internship opportunities. The campus is lively with events and a good crowd, but connectivity could improve. Scholarships are helpful, and there are many extracurricular activities to join. Overall, it was a great experience!

Absolutely value for money. Fees are affordable.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed last year. The highest package of the college had been gone to 36 LPA, but the average package is around 5 to 6 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech, Teach for India, Mahindra, etc. The college provides internships in every branch, but one needs to clear it, like the TCS internship programme, Microsoft program, etc. The top roles in my field are AI engineer, data scientist, ml engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are quite back and clean. The campus consists of Wi-Fi labs and a huge library which consists of almost every type of book. Also, there are many digital features like an advanced attendance system. There are 2 to 3 different canteens and food shops around the whole campus which have different kinds of food. Overall, it tastes very good. There are many options for healthy as well as fast food. There are many facilities like sports stars and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching is overall very good. The curriculum is very relevant and it follows the RGPV, the latest curriculum. The college also provides various webinars and hackathon seminars. The college provides also many certification courses from AWS and Cisco, which are industrial relevant. The difficult part is just the assignments and practical work, given it was too much.
Other: I had chosen the AIML course because I think there is more future in this. Talking about the improvements that cases need to make, it is to update their lab systems. They often also need to update their good thing about the college is that it provides bus facilities for Indore and also for nearby cities.

The highest package of our college is 11 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 3 lakhs per annum, while the lowest package is 1 lakh per annum. In our college, TCS, Microsoft, etc., come for recruitment. I don't know the percentage of students who got internships from my course. The top roles offered in my course are graphic designer, engineering, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good in our college; we have smart boards for classes, many desktops to use, and too many labs like chemistry, mechanical, and many more. The infrastructure of our college is also good; it has glass walls. In my hostel, there is a separate room for every student with AC in it, and the quality of food is also good. We get a special meal every Sunday.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful in my college; they help us with every problem and support us every time to motivate us to study well. The teachers in my college are experienced and teach very well in a friendly way. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and our college makes students industry-ready. The exams in my college are not that hard but not too easy. The pass percentage in my college is 35 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in engineering. The best thing about my course is that they have software work to do. All things are good on my campus, including the campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, etc.
