It is a good institute for architecture study.

Placements: I am a bachelor of architecture student, and currently, I am pursuing my final year. Placements are good here, and a maximum of 70% of the students will get placed. The highest salary package offered is around 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 2 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got internships from here. Senior designer, junior designer, etc., are the roles offered here. The highest salary of around Rs. 50,000 to 70,000 per month and the lowest salary of Rs. 20,000 per month will be offered here. Zensis, L&T, GMR, FHD Group and Sanjay Puri Architects offer jobs here. Roles like site chief architect, principle architect, senior architect, site supervisor and members in council of architecture are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: CAD lab, library, playground, canteen, classrooms, studio rooms, seminar hall, etc., are available here, but there is no college hostel. However, our college is nearer to many hostels for men and women as it is located in Madhapur, which is very near to Hyderabad city.

Faculty: Teachers here are very good and have experience and knowledge. The course is related to real life, and it is the toughest course of all degrees. However, it makes you to reach a very high level in society. There is enough number of guest faculty members also. We learn more here about designing.

Other: About 120 students are provided with admission every year through NATA and JEE Mains exam.

Our college needs to be improved.

Placements: Generally, the architecture course will not have placements. So, Sri Venkateswara College of Architecture (SVCA) also doesn't provide placements. However, faculty members surely give amazing suggestions for students regarding masters course or jobs. Our college gives exposure to all types of architecture and makes sure we even develop our practical knowledge. It is a renowned college in Hyderabad and affiliated to JNAFAU.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is not available here. However, many hostels are available nearby where students can stay. Students are provided with their own Id to access Wi-Fi. There are computer labs and library, and all arts and crafts workshops are conducted as well. Our college has an open gate system, so timings are pretty flexible. The canteen serves edible food at reasonable prices.

Faculty: Few of the faculty members here try very hard to support us and help us. Faculty members are graduated from various levels of colleges ranging from Boston University to Chandigarh University and SVCA only. But, proper knowledge is only acquired through fieldwork, so college study is not sufficient. Our college course curriculum includes a one-year internship programme, which is quite helpful to students. As it is one of the top colleges, it is easy to get internships as well.

Other: I opted for this course because it is a creative field with only limited structural aspects. You get to experience life in this course in a completely different way. I wish that our campus could have been huge and designed properly. Our course does not depend on individual efforts, and it requires group work, so you can make amazing friends by working in groups. Fests and competitions are conducted frequently. Cultural events, NASA, etc., and all types of fests and co-curricular activities have given equal importance here. Seniors are quite understanding and help to mould our career.

The basis of admission is NATA/JEE Main for B.Arch admission. There may be 15% of quota in admission for other states students.

Sri Venkateswara College of Architecture has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.Arch	Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply. Candidates appearing for 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023.
