Is St Ann's College of Engineering and Technology good for After 10th Diploma?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here are some key points to consider:

    * Placements: The college has a decent placement record, with around 60% of students getting placed. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, while the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Infosys visited the campus.
    * Infrastructure: The college has a large campus with a vast playground, spacious classrooms, and a good Wi-Fi facility. The library is well-stocked, and the mess food is generally considered good.
    * Faculty: Faculty members are described as helpful, with some having a doctorate degree. However, some students mentioned that the curriculum is not entirely relevant to industry needs.
    * Curriculum: While the curriculum covers most topics, some students felt that it could be improved to make graduates more industry-ready.
    * Internships: Unfortunately, interns are not provided by the college.
    * Overall Experience: Alumni and current students agree that the college has its pros and cons. While it offers good placements and infrastructure, it lacks in terms of internship opportunities and relevance of the curriculum to industry needs.

In conclusion, while St Ann's College of Engineering and Technology has its strengths, such as good placements and infrastructure, it falls short in providing internship opportunities and making its curriculum more industry-focused. Aspirants considering the college after completing their 10th Diploma should weigh these factors carefully before making a decision.

Absolutely not so good at reviewing but I really don't recommend our college to my fellow juniors.
Placements: I was a student in the electrical engineering department. Our department was divided into two sections. Each section consists of more than 40 students. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Some of my friends were placed in TCS and Accenture. I don't know anything about internships.
Infrastructure: Our college was very huge when it comes to infrastructure. We had a vast playground. The classrooms were spacious and comfortable. A good Wi-Fi facility and a big library which serves all sections of students from the first year to final year were available. The mess food was good. I would rate it 4 out of 5.
Faculty: I rather don't comment on the knowledge of the faculty. Some of them were very good at it. Some of them don't know anything. They just come to class, teach and go. They were not so helpful. Semester exams were very tough. If you study well, you will pass. Otherwise, you won't.
Other: Fests conducted in our college were good.

I am satisfied with the placements in 2022 but never expected our branch gets so many placements.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed from our college with a salary package of about 7.5 LPA and the lowest being 3.5 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and a few other companies visit the campus for placements. About 58% of students got placed in Tech Mahindra. Data analyst, front-end developer, BPO, and many more specialised job roles were given. We even got selected for software development and some got selected for JK Tech, Mysis, Naggaro, and many more companies. The college is collaborating with many more companies to take the placement and send the students for better exposure. Most of the students got selected in Wipro this year and few in Infosys and TCS and some in IBM company. Few are waiting to view their call letters.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi facility and we have a departmental library. We also have a department seminar hall and labs too. Our department received so many awards like college topper for more than 4 times. We have sports awards which are conducted by our college annually. The quality of food served is good and special food is served on every Sunday and during festival occasions. Hostel maintenance is good and recently, they made some arrangements according to the wish of the students and build more buildings for the newcomers.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are helpful. Some of them are working in companies part-time and some possess a doctorate. They have good technical knowledge. The curriculum is relevant. Students have to put in the effort in spite of the teacher's hard work. The highest pass percentage was 84% when it was under university but now, it is an autonomous college.
Other: I chose this branch because I wish to learn about communication along with electronics. The other reason is ECE has two paths to find a job of our choice either hardware or software, but I chose this subject only according to my interest in communication. I think improving new technologies may help us to know the external world better. We have department functions and fests during festivals and inter-college competitions in our college.

St.Anns. College of Engineering and Technology review.
Placements: Only 20% of students got placements because they were not given offer letters. The highest package is 6LPA. The top companies are Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Accenture. There are no internship opportunities at our college. There are no top roles offered at our college.
Infrastructure: In our college lab facility, it is good. New labs are constructed with new systems and high-speed Wi-Fi. Some labs are old. Systems are not even working. The library is well maintained and there are so many books to read. We can get any book we want. The canteen is very bad, no cleanliness.
Faculty: Only some teachers are qualified; some are just educated. We can't understand what they are saying, and they also don't know how to explain. The course curriculum is not relevant. It doesn't make the students ready for industry. If we study for 2 nights, it is enough for exam preparation.
Other: There is no fun on campus, only studying. But only festivals are conducted; rather than that, they don't conduct any events or games. So many people got the scholarship by the eamcet entrance or ecet.

The college and its culture are good, but they lack in providing placements.
Placements: Our college has average placements but compared to other colleges in that area it is better. It is not a good college to join as there are no good placements. Only small companies visit here, and the college fee structure is low. No internships are provided.
Infrastructure: The quality of food served is good, and there is no Wi-Fi. Labs are average, and the canteen is very good. The library is full of new books and magazines.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and they explain clearly. The pass percentage is average. There is no industrial experience provided, but the faculty members are well skilled. The faculty interaction with students is good.
Other: It is an average college, and the garden is good.

There are really good facilities in our college.
Placements: None of the students got internships, and internships are not provided here. Roles are not offered, and none of the students can get placed from our college. This course will have top recruiting companies, but now none of the companies visits here. Roles can be offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good here, but Wi-Fi is not available. The food served here is also good, and sports and games are also good. Classrooms, labs and the library are good. Canteen facilities are also good, and Wi-Fi is available with a limit of only 35 MB. The quality of food served is also very good. The mess and canteen are also excellent on our campus.
Faculty: There are some better teachers here. The pass percentage of students in our college is minimum, which is above 65%. Teachers are helpful, above-average qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is not relevant and doesn't make students industry-ready. In all semester exams in our college, the minimum percentage will be maintained.
Other: I am interested in the designing and construction field, so I chose this course. Events and fest are organised. Scholarships are good, and extracurricular activities are also good.

    Better college and good facilities.
Placements: The student's placement percentage is 80%, and I also have 82%. The lowest package is 15k per month, and the highest is 18k per month. The top companies are Volts, Hitachi, Tata, and Amazon; some small companies also offered jobs, and other branches also get jobs in EEE, CSE, ECE, CIVIL, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, labs are also available, classrooms are also available, the library is also available, and faculty are good and strict. Food is average, and sports are very good, like cricket, volleyball, football, kabaddi, khokho, handball, and basketball. Carrom and chess games are also available.
Faculty: Classes taught by teachers are good; in class we understand easily, and good knowledge is offered by teachers, and good marks and percentages are given in exams and labs, practicals, and internals labs examination surveys in the college, and the result will be important to students.
Other: I like civil engineering; it's my dream. I focus on that one, and my friends are very funny. I miss those days with my friends.
