B.Com. in Travel and Tourism (Vocational) - Batch of 2025

I am proud to be a student of St. Claret College.
Placements: Around 60-70% of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The salary offered depends on the course and post which you take. Top recruiting companies like EY, TCS, Deloitte, etc., visit the college to hire students. The college helps us by providing or guiding us to do the internship. They also provide us with certificate courses.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms and also food will be provided by the college. For hostel students, we have a canteen where you can buy 24x 7 hours. There is Wi-Fi, but it is available only near the canteen. The library has different types of books and exam materials. It also has a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and highly educated. They help us in various aspects and also provide us with opportunities. Semester exams are good. Teachers make it easy to understand and write the exams so it is not so difficult to write exams.
Other: My course is B.Com. in Travel and Tourism. We actually explore a lot in this course. We get a job opportunity in two industries such as tourism and commerce. We have lots of trips and excursions where we can explore.

St. Claret College, Bangalore.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed from our college. They provide minimum 7 LPA salary package. EY and Deloitte provide placement for the course. All students are provided with internships from the college itself. HR and teaching professionals are the roles offered through course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is so good with a nice ambiance. There is library, labs, classroom, free Wi-Fi, etc., are available. The college provides 3 hostels 2 for girls and one for boys. Hostel also provides mess. The food is also good. The college provides sports and games for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and friendly. The college is so good at conducting exams for students.
Other: College is so good to study and students are encouraged to participate in the college fests. College fees are not high and budget-friendly. The college conducts extracurricular activities and personality development programs for students. Academics and culture sports day is conducted in our college.

College life in St. Claret College.
Placements: There are many kinds of offer letters that are given to our college students. Companies that come usually offer 15 LPA to the maximum, but it depends mostly on the students and their skill sets. They mostly don't go on your appearance; instead, they look on your skill sets and your way of approaching things.
Infrastructure: We do have Wi-Fi facilities with good speed and good computer labs. The classrooms have smart boards for all classrooms. And the library is installed with both online and offline book facilities and many such online facilities of reading as well as many subscriptions to online sources such as Grammarly.
Faculty: The faculty are really very friendly and approachable at any time. They teach really well, concepts are understood in a detailed manner, and the students are made ready for the exams during the class itself. The college makes sure that everyone is provided with an opportunity to gain skills.
Other: The fests are really conducted in a very enjoyable way that everyone can get involved and contribute to such fests .

Get to know your college.
Placements: The previous batch had campus placements, and on average, per batch, there were 50 students who got recruited. Internship opportunities were provided, and certificate courses as well. Many companies like Google, EY, airline companies, and finance managing companies are also aligned with the college.
Infrastructure: The campus and infrastructure are very beautiful. It has a great environment and crowd. Hostels are average, but the other college facilities, like classrooms, labs, library, canteen, medical room, playgroup, and sports zones, are commendable. The cafeteria and the library are the best ones.
Faculty: The teaching and non-teaching faculty are very helpful, kind, and approachable. The teachers of the particular subjects are excellent at their work, and they provide us with knowledge that is relevant to real life as well. Semester exams and mid-term exams are followed up by the faculty in a very professional manner.
Other: My course is a Bachelor of Arts with a triple major in Psychology, Journalism, and Sociology, with additional languages and self-development programs. This college has given a huge range for my passion in psychology.

Good college with very good, experienced teachers.
Placements: 90 percent of the students got placed in my course. The highest package was 14 LPA. The average package was 4-5 LPA. The lowest package was 4 LPA. Companies like Google, Amazon, IBM, Infosys, and PwC visited. 90 percent was the average. Infosys hired developers and testers.
Infrastructure: LAN cables, charging ports in every bench, and the lab, classroom, and library are good and comfortable. The food in the canteen is super good. Hostel rooms are fine. The canteen employees are also good, and there is a place to sit and eat. Good sports tournaments and good assistants.
Faculty: All exams are good and informative. Good teachers and faculty at this college. They are very kind, supportive, and caring. Good infrastructure of the college. Clean campus full of greenery and a lot of trees. Very good environment, and the grass is well-maintained.
Other: Good campus and good teachers.

The college has both nice and bad things about it but overall it's a good college.
Placements: I feel the placements are not good. Only about 15–25% of students get selected for placements, and the average package is also less than 2–3 LPA. Some have gotten good packages of around 8 LPA, but overall, it's less. There are not many recruiters, and the companies that recruit are also not that big and are just smaller companies. Most students get jobs related to the IT sector in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good here, with all the basic facilities. The campus is of decent size, and there are two canteens that are affordable. There is Wi-Fi on each floor, but it's not available for students. The classrooms have projectors, but those are outdated. I don't have much idea about hostels as I don't live in them, but I guess they are decent.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and approachable, but not everyone is. Mostly, they teach well and get the work done. Some teachers don't teach properly, but I guess that's a universal problem. Overall, the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum follows NEP, so it is useful. There are 2 class tests and 2 exams in each semester, and the difficulty level is moderate to high. 85–90% of the students pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in working in the IT sector, and I chose this college because it is near my house and has a good reputation. Many things can be done to improve the course, like doing more skill-based and practical learning than theory and having more interactive classes. There are regular festivals and events conducted at the college. Each month there is something or another that's happening here, so that's a good thing. There are not many places to hang out near the college. The college also gives merit and financial aid scholarships to deserving students.
