Really good college for fulfilling your engineering dreams.

Placements: The packages are as high as 15 LPA. Many big companies like Infosys, TATA, HP, etc. The College helps and trains the students before 3 years for the interview, which results in many students getting recruitment and job offers. They even provide training for amplitude tests.

I am satisfied with the green campus that promotes students for good learning.

Placements: Placements are quite good due to autonomous grades. Top companies like Bosch, Microsoft, and Adobe come for hiring students with a good salary package. Placement department gives good training and experience sessions before the interview. They give you good support.

It is the best college in this area and has supporting management.

Placements: I am still in the first year, but seniors all get jobs, students are given aptitude training so, they can get jobs easily, and all the latest technology is taught. Students are given training from the first year itself. Students get an idea of the industry, and it provides good facilities.

Review of St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) campus, Vamanjoor, Mangalore.

Placements: 50-60% 20 LPA - the highest package. Infosys, Congnizant, Amazon etc. Our placement cell is very good and they try hard to get all the candidates to get placed in good companies with the highest package. There is a regular test on aptitude. Some workshops on placements and a lot more.

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Mangalore. The teaching faculty members are good.

Placements: Most of the students get placement in IT fields, in spite of doing mechanical engineering. Around 30% of students get placed in different companies like TCS, Cognizant, etc. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA for mechanical engineers. The top role offered is a trainee engineer.

It is a good college with good placements.

Placements: The placements in our college are pretty good. Around 85% of students from our batch were placed, and the students have to be good in academics to be eligible for placements. But the college doesn't help students to find internships, and we are expected to find internships on our own. However, the placement cell is very good here. Major IT companies like TCS, Wipro and Infosys recruit students from our campus.

It is the best engineering college in Bangalore, and the college will be autonomous this year.

Placements: Placements in SJEC are excellent. The highest salary package offered was 25 LPA which is excellent. St Joseph Engineering College has a separate block for the management of the placements. Students get placed in MNCs like Wipro, Microsoft, Adobe, Google, and many others.

This college has amazing potential.

Placements: For placements, academics performance of students given greater preference than their actual skills here. The entire selection process of placements must be chalked up again based on the skill level of students. Our college must give more emphasis on the nature of the job role than the salary package offered for the job role.

Really good for infrastructure, facilities and sports.

Placements: More than 90% were placed in my batch. The highest package being 4.5L per annum and the minimum being 2.75 L. I remember a few of my batchmates got an internship at Bosch, MCF, MRPL. For internships, the students had to approach the company. There was no programme in the college for internships in these companies.

I am satisfied because of faculty members and good placements in 2017.

Placements: Almost 90-95% of the students got placed, and the rest of them wanted to do further studies. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Cadence, Robosoft, etc. The maximum salary package offered was 4 LPA, but it would increase as core companies are also invited on the campus for placements.

Great Stories Begin Here!

Placements: I am a student of 4th-year mechanical engineering, and I can tell that the amount of support provided during the time of the internship and the placement is great. The college provides us with sufficient opportunities to contact the concerned person from the companies. This year the max package to the mechanical stream has been 4 lacs and it is going to increase as the core companies are yet to come to our college.

It's better than most of the colleges in Bangalore.

Placements: There weren't any placements for the civil engineering batch. There weren't any core companies that conducted placement drives. It was hard to go out and try for placements, for civil engineers. We didn't have any placement training, which could have helped us to get a job outside the campus.
