The college has good infrastructure and decent faculty, but events and fests are bad.

Placements: Placements in the college are good for computer science and electronics branch. Almost all of the computer science students were placed, aside from those, who opted to not go for placements. Civil placements are non-existent, and only ten people got placed in the campus placements over four years. Mechanical branch is pretty similar, as the core companies don't visit the campus for placements. Most of the mechanical students attend the placements of IT companies. Mass hiring companies such as LT...

Excellent college to be in.

Placements: Placements has been 80% above for my batch as well as senior and junior batches too. Average salary was 5lakhs per annum, the lowest was 3lakhs per annum and the highest was 12lakhs per annum. Internship is encouraged and workshops are provided during holidays.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Our college shows more attention to the students' future. The college conducts aptitude class internally so that, students perfectly get ready for the interviews and also the college conducts server computation which is useful for placements. TCS, Infosys, Birla Group, and sever IT companies had taken a good number of students student from our college. They promised that they would keep recruiting students from our college.

If possible, try elsewhere.

Placements: The CS branch and E&C branches have comparatively better placement opportunities with companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra and Cognizant. The highest package offered as of 2018 is 13 LPA to a mechanical student in ARAI. Around 400 students get placed every year in different companies. There is a compulsory internship for students, which is being implemented from 2017, for a duration of a month.

This is a good tier-3 college.

Placements: Placements need a lot of improvement. Most of the companies who come for recruitment are IT based. Core company recruitment is very poor. There were't much opportunities for internships. Percentage of placed students was below average, at least to say in mechanical department.

A review of St. Joseph Engineering College.

Placements: According to my knowledge, civil has decent but few placements compared to other branches here. One of the placement company hails from Qatar. Electronics and communication branch has most of the placements. Most of the companies mass recruit EC students.

The placements were not good during my period so that I was sad. But the rest everything was best.

Placements: For mechanical engineering, the placements were not that good. Most of the IT companies have come for the placements. A few core companies like Mahindra, Indian Navy, TCS etc. were available. The placement department is well-set, and the procedure is simple to enter. At least, 60% above is required.

A college that provides quality education in coastal Karnataka.

Placements: The college offers a very good placement training. Cooperative training and placement officer, well-qualified faculty members and well-equipped labs are available. Many students have secured jobs in Bosch, JCB, Saint Gobain, etc. IT firms like TCS, ITC, Microsoft and HP have conducted mass recruitment. The college has secured almost 90% of the placements for eligible students.

SJEC is one of the best colleges for MCA and provides good campus and placements.

Placements: The companies like TCS, Mu Sigma, Maventic, ITC, Tech Mahindra, Robosoft, Infosys, and Mphasis etc., visit the college. In the last year total, 283 students got placed. According to my knowledge, SJEC is the top college to provide top placements for MCA in Bangalore. They provide salary up to 2.50 LPA with food and accommodation.

Friendly lecturers are present in the college. There is a nice infrastructure.

Placements: The college has a separate placement officer; the placement officer is working hard to get good companies. The placement officer will motivate students to attend the placement drives which are done in the nearby colleges. Majority of the placements are done in the marketing field. The packages offered are around 2.5 LPA to 6 LPA.

The college has an excellent teaching facility and has good placements and internships.

Placements: Last year, 90% of the students were placed, and the placement is still going on. Most of the companies visit for the campus drive such as Intel, Himachal Pradesh, etc. The students are given an opportunity to attend the Google interview, which is held at Nitte, and it provides internship at different states to get more knowledge. You can choose your place for an internship.

The experience at St. Joseph Engineering College.

Placements: The placement team at SJEC always strives hard to get the best companies for the placements. The major tech giants like Bosch, EDS Technologies and SAP Labs are a few to name the companies that visited our campus for the placements. Even, the internship for the students is supported by the placement team. Around 85 to 90 percent students got placed, and the rest of them have either opted for the higher education or joined the family business. The highest package offered was around Rs. 8 lacs per...

The college management has to work on the improvement placements and curriculum, as soon as possible

Placements: The placements were not so good at the time of our under graduation. Only few IT companies visited our college and recruited students for the roles ranging from BPO to Programmer. There was no chance of seeing core companies in our college. And the packages offered were nominal. We wonder what a student's worth is after 4 years of vigorous learning.

College is good but dissatisfied with hostel. Good placements and really good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were really good. Many got placed in the campus placements. They train us well with the aptitude and give us information about the companies coming. There are pre-placement talks, training sessions and I-point classes which are really nice. Senior batch placements were good and almost all of them were placed. Robosoft, Amazon, Decathlon and SAP visited the campus.

Satisfied with the faculty and placements in 2016-2017. Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Most of the companies look for students with 60%+ aggregate in all the semesters. Around 70% of the eligible students were placed last year. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, Maventic, Amazon, Robosoft and TCShave visited the campus. Necessary training programmes are conducted for the students before the commencement of the placement season. We have got an excellent placement officer who gives her 100% to make sure that all the students are placed.

I am extremely satisfied and happy with all the college facilities, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: A good placement percentage is assured. Only good companies are called that offer more than Rs. 10,00,000 package annually. They include Amazon Web Services and Development, Robosoft. Training and guidance are provided efficiently before the placement season begins.
