Strong Academics and Supportive Faculty with Vibrant Campus Life, but More Industry-Relevant Focus

Placements: If you’re considering joining the BA Hons Sanskrit program at St. Stephen’s, placement-wise, it’s quite promising. Approximately 60-70% of students secure placements, and the average salary package ranges from 4-12 lakhs per annum. Realistically, you can expect to earn around 7-8 lakhs. The program attracts top recruiters from esteemed organizations such as NCERT, NGOs, and publishing houses. Additionally, about half of the class lands internships with renowned companies like ICCR and other cult...

Really good and reputed college, don't miss the chance!

Placements: Half of the class was placed in consulting, investment banking, and marketing fields. The highest package is 23 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. Many students got internships from my class, like at DE Shaw, JSW, and many more companies. The top roles are analyst and investment banking analyst.

Review of St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi.

Placements: The placement cell of St. Stephen's College is quite active. They provide internship offers throughout the year. You get to choose from a plethora of options. By the time you are in your final year of graduation, you tend to think about the next step, and that's when placements come in. Placements in St. Stephen's College are quite good and inclusive of all courses. It's just that those from mathematics and economics backgrounds have a better chance of getting placed than others. The majority of...

One of the best college of north campus DU.

Placements: I don't know much about placements as I am the first year student but I have worked with campus placement cell so I know few of the top recruiters. Name of few to recruiting companies are McKenzie and company, TCS, BCC, Teach for India, Times of India etc.

I am satisfied. Placement scenario is not great, and most students opt for higher studies.

Placements: Major top companies like McKinsey, Brain, Kearney and Accenture come to our college. This year because of Covid, placement scenario has been less promising in terms of the number of students hired as compared to other years. Generally, the salary package offered is around 12-15 LPA for front-end consulting roles and IB roles, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA.

It is the best college for the research field and the faculty members and environment is best.

Placements: The placements in research fields are the most and many reputed institutions came to recruit our students. Average salary package is around 6 to 7 Lacs and still the process is going on. It is best college in terms of practical college and all over personal development.

Our college provides a perfect environment to grow.

Placements: I am not that much aware of placements. Around 20% of the students got placed, and others opted for higher studies. The highest salary package offered ranges from 13 LPA - 14 LPA The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. McKinsey is the only one I remember that visited the campus for recruitment. However, there were many others. Many students could get in placements from our course.

Our college provides good infrastructure, placement, and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. Most of the student of this college get a job in the final year. In some department like computer science engineering, information technology and electronics and communication engineering placement records are well.

In one sentence this college is a dream college for most of the students.

Placements: Overall if a person wants placement then it get with a good package in some it company. The highest package from this course is more than 20 Lacs per annum. But most of the students enter in this course opt for higher studies either by clear jam exam or try for foreign studies. Also a few students go for UPSC. Most importantly currently most of the students in this course is looking for data analysis.

It's worth being in Stephens College not because of reputation but the onus upon us to help others.

Placements: Students who attended placements got placed. Almost 20-30% of them are placed. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are McKinsey, Doon Public School, Gardner, Teach for India and Bjyu's. Roles offered are primarily related to consultations. Almost 40-50% of the students got internships which are mostly sponsored by the governs.

Your sanctuary for the next three years.

Placements: The Campus Placement Cell of St. Stephen's College is a student society. It is a very active and readily accessible. It brings probably the largest number of placements as compared to all other colleges of Delhi University. Almost all the courses get the placement opportunities. In the field of B.Sc. Hons. Chemistry there are opportunities for placement but they are too few after the undergraduate degree. The average package may range from 5~6 Lacs. But most of the students prefer to go for fur...

I am dissatisfied with the faculty and their teaching style. It provides great training.

Placements: Generally, students from our course do not attend for placements, but the placement to student ratio is 1:10. Job profile offered to us is generally of data scientists or based on the technical skills that you have achieved throughout your course. In our batch, only one out of 5 students who applied for internship got selected at Deutsche Bank. Overall below 10% of students got an internship if we include those who do not apply for these.

The college has got a good group of faculties, students, various societies, good placements etc .

Placements: 1. Almost 60-80 % students are placed from our college every year. Since I'm in chemistry and in our department most of the students opt for higher studies and not in placements. Eventhough the students who are willing to be placed are getting recruitments from high companies and are been placed at high packages. 2. The highest salary offered is nearly 40- 60 Lacs per annum the lowest salary is almost 10 Lacs per annum Average salary is almost 14 Lacs per annum 3. Some of the top recruiting co...

The college has really good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges in India. Every year a lot of students after completing their undergraduate course go to foreign countries for their masters or PhD. About 60% of students every year go for internships. Campus placement cell looks into the matter of placements in various field of interest. Last year, many of our students got selected in several multinational companies. The highest salary package offered was about 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was about 10.5 LPA.

St. Stephen's College: A place comparable to Heaven.

Placements: 1. 65-70% of the students who sit for placements get placed. 2. 17 lacs in India and 41 lacs abroad was the highest package and the average package is 10.20 lacs. 3. Citibank, McKenzie, DE Shaw, etc. recruited the students. 4. Mostly in IT sector such as data analyst was the role offered. 6. Many students do get internships in my course, for example, one of my friend is an intern at IISER Kolkata, then one guy is intern at TIFR and many such big institutes.

It is one of the best places for undergraduation.

Placements: Placements were generally achieved by students from economics, mathematics and English, but students from other courses were also encouraged to apply for them. Stephen's CPC (campus placement cell) also provided many opportunities for internships. Some companies that visited during my year were BCC, ATKearney, Deloitte, and Deutsche Bank.

Totally not up to the hype of the college name, but yea, it surely is one of the best colleges in DU

Placements: The college has a dedicated Campus Placement Cell (CPC), which looks into placements. They register interested students for the placements, and inform them of the various companies coming for campus recruitment. The highest package went for ?30 Lacs per annum last year. The companies that come to St Stephen's are Boston Consulting Group, Mackenzie, Azyro Infratech etc. As these names suggest, they primarily offer the roles of data consultants to the students. Eco Hons and Maths Hons students for...
