Excellent infrastructure with good accedmic curriculum and green open environment.
Placements: Placement is not provided, but companies like TCS do come; they give us training, and at the end, an interview is taken, and those who meet the criteria can join at flexible hours. Fresher salaries start at 60 Thousand Per month, and those who are able to grow in company salary increase with time. Mostly, after this course, students either go for higher studies or join any private company.
Infrastructure: Big classrooms with windows and doors, library building course-wise, a seminar hall, a playground, a park, and a canteen for students (food quality is good), and a weekly menu is provided and affordable. Hostel facility only for boys on campus for girls at walking distance outside college greenery all over the campus well ventilated building with lift facility for PWD. Girls waiting room or lounge area is available with a sitting area to rest.
Faculty: Ph.D. holders are experienced teachers who have a different style of teaching and are helpful in providing guidance and clearing doubts. Yes, the course was relevant, as the curriculum includes all important areas. The passing percentage is excellent. Exams are conducted twice: internal, midterm, and final. The examination level is average to hard.
Other: I chose this course for my keen interest in the subject. Fests like Eco Fest include various activities that create knowledge about the subject, including games related to finance, business, and accounts. The student-teacher ratio should be changed.

It has a good environment and facilities and we are satisfied with teachers and exam patterns.
Placements: Our college has no placements. They are now offering an honors course, which is very vast and will provide many placement opportunities. As our course is a theory-based subject, few students come to college expecting placements. This course is meant to gain some theoretical knowledge of the subject.
Infrastructure: The college has a good, accessible Wi-Fi connection. They provide huge classrooms and labs. The library of the college is excellent, with a vast collection of books and a peaceful environment. It can attract any student. The canteen provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options for students.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. They make sure their style of presentation is understandable. Be it a Gujarati-medium student or any other, they are giving their best. The syllabus requires many changes. Exam patterns are good but they need to involve more questions related to the current scenario. The college has a counselor.
Other: I am from Madhya Pradesh. I wanted to study economics at a reputed college, and Xavier's is one of the most prestigious colleges in our country. The campus life is good. The campus has lush greenery. Our college organises events and festivals.

St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad: An Enriching Experience.
Placements: I am not in a proper position to comment on placements with accuracy since I am still completing semester 5, and in my field (psychology), students usually don't go for placements straight after bachelors. However, based on what my seniors have had to say about placements, I rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
Infrastructure: The facilities made available to my department have been satisfactory. The blackboards, benches, desks, and other classroom utilities haven't given any problems during lectures. The Wi-Fi, however, is almost unusable since the signal is almost always very poor. The library is definitely satisfactory with a good and extensive collection of books on all subjects and fields and a good atmosphere. The hostel is below satisfactory. The food in the mess is not very good, and the curfew time is very regressive, especially in the women's hostel (7:30 p.m. in time for girls and 8:30 p.m. for boys). Overall, I would not recommend enrolling in the college hostel and instead getting separate accommodation. The college canteen has satisfactory food. Quality and taste are decent, and prices are reasonable. I personally have never faced any issues with the medical facilities. Every time I needed some emergency medicine, I have been provided with it in time. I am not a sports person myself, but the sports department in our college is pretty active in recruiting students and training them for participation in sports events.
Faculty: The teachers I have had were very well qualified and helpful in catering to students' needs. They have good teaching methods, and lectures are usually interactive and interesting. Furthermore, there is a mentorship programme where every student is assigned a mentor professor who is there to give personal guidance to the student for career or academic-related help.
Other: The amount of diversity present in the campus makes campus life very vibrant and lively. I have got to learn a lot from people of different backgrounds and cultures!

    The greatest college of Gujarat.
Placements: Around 60% students were placed. The highest average package offered in my course is 10 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting company is Nirma. Around 30% students got internship in Nirma, HDI and other companies. The college is better than other colleges in terms of placement.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available like a neat & clean classroom & labs with all equipment and hostel facility is average mess food quality are very low and sports facilities is too good and Wi-Fi facilities is also available but Wi-Fi speed is very low, best library is also available its atmosphere is too good, in sports our college's performance is very good and college canteen is available but no more good things available in canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified and experienced. The course is very much relevant and semester exams are tough. All the teachers are experienced that's why we are fully satisfied about our studies. Teachers are also supportive, but exams are very tough in our college. Pass percentage is around 60-65.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

I am proud to be a Xavierian.
Placements: The college provides career-oriented programs which are UGC approved and university recognised. There are 6 in arts and 6 in science. Some of the COP courses are career-oriented. It ensures that once completed, a student will be able to get a job in their field of specialisation. In Psychology, there is a course of counselling which I have done during 2nd year of my graduation. I believe the certificate will help me to get a good career opportunity. There are opportunities in good companies like Tata etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. A huge library, labs and airy classrooms are available. There are grounds for different sports too. The college has hostels for boys and girls. The canteen provides good quality food at reasonable prices.
Faculty: All the professors are qualified with a doctorate. They are always ready to help us in case of difficulty. They give their best to make students understand. They are very supportive but not in the case of exams. The college is a little strict about discipline and conducting exams. There are 2 internal exams and 1 external exam per semester. A minimum of 80% attendance is compulsory to attend the exams. If we understand the structure and study well, then exams aren't that much difficult.
Other: In 21st-century, people are getting mentally ill, and they need a person who can listen to them and help them out. Psychology lets us understand the emotions of others. The college organises fests like CUL-FEST, Youth fest etc. They allow departments to arrange fests like eco (economic)-fest etc. The college also has NCC, NSS and CWDC (Child & Women's Development cell) activities.

Review of St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad.
Placements: The placement ratio in our course is very less because a majority of the students went for a masters degree. A modicum of them actually wanted a job. The highest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is Rs. 60,000 per month. The average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. A top recruiting company for our course is TCS. There are sufficient opportunities for internships in our course, but the students did not show much participation because a majority of them wanted to go for their master's degree. The ones who participated got internships from TCS and NITI Aayog. The top roles one can get from bachelors in economics can be of a columnist in an economics periodical, and they can be hired as analyse data or as a teacher.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and above average. It has almost all the facilities. The library is very good. The labs are good, and the classrooms are proper. I was quite satisfied with the infrastructure of the college. The hostels are old and shabby. I stay in a locality, so I didn't live in the hostel, but I saw it once and twice, and I would not recommend it. The canteen is good, but the prices are a bit too much keeping in mind that students of every economic background studied in the college. The medical and sports facilities are good. Our college excelled pretty well in sports. The teams and athletes from our college won several titles.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very qualified and used excellent methods for teaching. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is quite relevant to real-world demands, and it makes the students industry-ready. The exams are pretty difficult, but they were curated to test the basic concepts and knowledge of the students. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: Economics is a rational and practical subject, and it interested me a lot, so I chose to take my interest a level further. If I got a chance to suggest any improvements or feedback, I would like to include more field visits in the course curriculum. Events and fests are organised at the college. The campus crowd and connectivity is pretty much excellent. The department of arts is a grant in aid, and the fee is minimal.
