St. Xavier's College Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Park Street

Placements: Only about 5 out of 65 students were placed through our college, moreover in subpar roles as assistants and entry-level technicians, both audio and video. There were no major players except TOI and Hindu as recruiters, and the packages were modest at best.

Placements: There are no placements for Physics Honours. Other departments, like Biotechnology and Commerce, have placements every year. For Physics, it is better to go for higher studies, such as doing a Master's, Ph.D., and postdoctoral research.

Placements: We are 1st year students so we don't know much about the placements but we know that big companies like Deloitte recruit students from our college. Internship opportunities are provided to all year students based on different eligibility criteria so it is convenient and attainable for all.

Placements: The placements offered by our college are really good. Most of the students who sit for campus recruitment are placed. The placement cells have been effective over the past few years. Some companies that hire from here are McKinsey, De Shaw, and Deloitte. The salaries vary from about 4 LPA to 11 LPA.

Placements: The college offers excellent placement opportunities through its placement cell. A few of the top companies, such as PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Genpact, Zomato, Accenture, Grant Thornton, etc. come each year for campus placement across various roles ranging from Audit, Finance, Accounts, etc.

Placements: Currently the placements are not held for my batch but as of previous batches overall the placements are above 50% which id a very good number because many students are pursuing professional courses so those who applied have a 80-90% chance of placements .

Placements: Around 50-60% of the students were placed in the top 4 consulting firms of India alongside various IT companies. The highest package was probably around 16 LPA, offered by DE Shaw, an edge-found company. The packages were pretty decent amidst the COVID lockdown, which also somewhat affected the percentage of students getting placed.

Placements: More than 50% of students were placed in the year, and the highest package was maybe more than INR 15 lacs, and the lowest was maybe INR 1.5 lacs. The recruiting companies are doubtfully big and well-known, and overall, you will get to know everything after 4 years.

Placements: 90% of BBM/BMS students got the placement but I don't know about the B.Com Student's placement data. I am a B.Com Student and I can roughly tell you what minimum and maximum package is offered to students. Minimum 3-4LPA and maximum 25-27LPA. Companies like TCS, DELOITTE, KPMG, JP MORGAN, etc. Have offered jobs in the B.Com course. Most of the Students in B.Com course are doing CAs so they opt for DELOITTE and KPMG and around 50-60% get that. They are hired as an assistant Articles in those comp...

Placements: About 60–70% of the students got offers from companies, including MNCs; most of the students either went for higher studies (MBA) or professional courses such as CA, CMA, FRM, etc. The highest package was around INR 10 lacs per annum. The average package ranges from INR 5–6 lacs p.a. Many companies, including MNCs, come here for recruitment every year. 100% of the students get an internship, as it is made compulsory to take up at least one internship during the 3-year course. Placements: Placements are above average in our college. It is not exceptional, but better than most colleges. Top recruiting companies are EY, KPMG, Deloitte, Google, Reckitt Benckiser, Tata, PWC, etc. Many local start-up companies visit our college to recruit students.

Placements: In our college, more than 90% of students are placed. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 22 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Ernst & Young, KPMG, etc., visit our campus. More than 90% of students get internships at D.E. Shaw, Axxela, Byjus, Paytm, and P.S. Group Finance Associate, Audit, and Accounts.

Placements: The placements are excellent. You have giants like EY, KPMG, Deloitte, Google, Reckitt Benckiser, Tata etc. Visiting the campus every year. These are just a few name in addition to this there are also local businesses or start ups that give Xavier a visit.

Placements: Freshers have the opportunity to participate in placement cell events. They volunteer and learn when companies visit our campus for placementa. Freshers are not directly involved in interactions with the placement companies. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, etc., visit our campus. Students in their third year of this course are allowed to work on different workshops and internships. Seminars, special lectures, and workshops are also held regularly. Placements: Placements are good. Recruiters include Axella, D.E. Shaw, PwC, WTW, EY, and other top companies. Salary packages range from 5 LPA to 21.5 LPA. The placement cell of the college is active and provides internships as well.

Placements: Being the best undergraduate college in Kolkata, a lot of companies from across the world visit here for placements. Good packages are offered based on skills and the college score of the candidate. For B.Com the package is not too high, but as a backup option, it is good. Most B.Com students either do a professional course or MBA after B.Com for higher packages.

Placements: In our course, almost 40% of college students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 23 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is between 6 LPA and 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies such as Delloite, D.E. Shaw, Accenture, etc., visit our campus. Around 70% of students get internships in our course at Max Paints, Teachnook, etc.

Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 23 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Delloite, DE Shaw, Accenture, etc. Almost 30% of students got internships in our course.

Placements: The placements were average. Many MNC and MSME companies came here. The highest package offered was 7.2 LPA, and the average package was around 4-5 LPA. A few students got low packages. Around 76% of students got internships, and a few got direct jobs from MNCs.

Placements: Placements have not yet started for our batch as of now. But I heard from our seniors. Mostly, companies want to hire CAs but they hire those who don't do CA also. The selection happens in 4-5 drives and there aren't many placements that actually happen.
