SCERT is a good college in terms of learning and experience.
Placements: In our course, there were no campus placements. The placement cell began offering opportunities in prestigious private schools and institutions. Some part-time jobs were also provided in government institutions.
Infrastructure: The library, classrooms, and seminar halls are equipped with the latest technologies. The library is open from 10 AM to 6 PM. There are numerous books, ranging from pedagogies to competitive. There is no hostel facility.
Faculty: One of the advantages is that all faculty members here are well-qualified and very down-to-earth. They are available at any time to help students with all sorts of problems. Every scheme of Delhi government is first reviewed by SCERT. This gives students exposure to Government schemes. Semester exams are not that tough. You just need to pay attention to the topics taught in class.
Other: If you are looking for a learning environment, SCERT is a good choice.

Really good faculty, decent infrastructure and a nice learning environment.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is created this year only. Our majority of seniors got placed through the placement cell in both private as well as government schools. Some also got appointed as guests teachers in government schools. The package they got was also descent enough.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not too big like the colleges of Delhi University but is descent enough. Classrooms are well-ventilated and well-equipped with all the necessary teaching material. During summers, classes are conducted in the main building where the rooms have centralised AC. Our college has 2 buildings, one is the main office building and the other one is where our classes our conducted. There is also a small library in the main building which has all the necessary books. The only negative part is that our college don't have any playground.
Faculty: The faculty is really great and is always there to help us academically as well as non academically. The exposure we get here is also really good, as we get to interact with the in-service teachers who have a lot of teaching experience and also guide us.
Other: B.Ed is a great course if you have a keen interest in becoming a teacher.

Wonderful college for professional teacher training programme.
Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities; however, the organization's selection procedures for new hires are rigorous. Of the students chosen, 80% are chosen based on their performance in interviews and 20% are chosen based on their academic standing. SOSE, Delhi government schools, and reputed private schools are invited for interviews. B.Ed 1st year students are given chance to participate in all placement cell functions and numerous options are given to B.Ed 2nd year students for placement. After completing the course, students receive employment in private or public schools or as teacher assistants in government schools. Further, SCERT, Delhi offers its students 4 monthly teacher training programs only in government schools to get a holistic view of the teaching-learning process.
Infrastructure: 2 buildings B.Ed block where B. Ed classes are conducted and Office Block - comprises an auditorium, library, offices, inset cell, rooms for workshops, publication cell, and conference rooms. No hostel at present. Medical Facilities with appropriate materials, all facilities, and 2 medical professional Counsellor are available. Mentor in mentee cell is there where 1 teacher is attached with 15 students to give time and resolve any problem. There is a canteen. Wi-Fi is available. Library with all the latest books, materials, journals, newspapers, and library meetings are conducted to get an overview of required books as per trainee teacher needs.
Faculty: Teachers are humble, equipped with subject matter knowledge, and qualified. The course curriculum is relevant to the program and up to date as per changing needs of the educational climate. Addition of experiential learning program, entrepreneurship & teaching, practical subjects. Semester exams ask questions that are relevant to the subject, they are both direct and indirect as per the difficulty level set. Pass% is very good with 97%.
Other: Since SCERT is a professional Institute and only government college under Delhi Government with both pre-service and in-service teacher enrollment and internship period only in the government schools, it provides a complete picture of what skills, knowledge, and habits a future educator needs to have after completing the professional teacher training course, it does provide some amazing exposures. Educational Local field visits/trips (Visit to JNU for the book fair, Amarjyoti charitable Trust, etc. Weekly or Monthly National & International workshops, and seminars on the latest and dynamic topics. Connectivity to the nearest metro station Lajpat Nagar, market nearby. House activities and a monthly competition. Celebration of festivals after getting admission in my first year only I got selected as placement cell coordinator, got a mail by the principal (shared to my parents and me) for my best performance in debates, awarded with 1st prize in the inter-house extempore competition. "it has opportunities for everyone.
