Stella Maris College is a women's college. It has great infrastructure, facilities and very knowledgeable faculty members. The everyday activities keep everyone motivated and busy with their work, one can enjoy as well as learn a lot of things at the same time in Stella. While the management drove us nuts, we were very happy with our English department. Our department such love for the subject in us, that it even changed the way we look at life. The drama club and our college play were some of my favorite parts of life in this college.
Placements: Most of the students of our course have been placed in good companies and with good annual packages. The percentage of students that were placed was 85% in top companies. The highest package that a student received was 10 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package that a student received was 3 Lacs per annum, and the average package of our college was 5 Lacs per annum.
Placements: Many stfrom my batch who opted for placements were placed in decent jobs like around 90 % students were placed in various companies in the field of tourismthere were many extra Certificate courses to learn from. We were given internship training in various companies .
Placements: Stella Maria College offers ample opportunities for both placement and internships across various sectors. Typically, final-year students are eligible for placement drives where prominent companies such as TCS, BYJU'S, HCBC, and Wipro actively participate.
Placements: Around 60% of students in my course were placed, with a package of around 15k. Epispurce was the top recruiting company, and several research companies visited our department. Various roles were offered within my course, and the internship provided by the college was incredibly helpful.
Placements: Our batch consist of 56 students totally. As it was over aided fee atruct was reasonable. Many biotechnology and laboratories came for recruitment for instances cancer genomics internship came with stipend and also they offer a job for students. Almost each and every student got an internship.
Placements: Our batch had 52 students. Top recruiting companies visited our campus. Top roles offered were HR and workplace counseling. For B.Sc. psychology, you should compulsorily do a master's degree so you'll have more scope and future. Our college was a very good place.
Placements: The agencies that provided jobs for students were MSL, 20:20 MSL concept PR, perfect relations, and genesis. They also provided paid internships which were helpful to understand the organisation and to practice for future purposes. The average salary offered was Rs 25,000 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs 40,000 per month.
Placements: So many students have been placed. It is a very good course offered in our college. Our College is one of the best women's colleges in Chennai. So many got internships. Third-year students are eligible for the campus interview. All companies afford the opportunity. Most banks like hdfc, HSBC, etc. Avail the opportunity. In my class, there is a total strength of 74 students in that 25 students got placed in different companies.
Placements: Students from rural and urban areas come here. My course is aided, so the semester fee is comparatively less. Research companies come here. At least 50% of students in my department got internships with the HOD's recommendation and help. SPL, cultural leader, games leader, and committee leader, roles are offered.
Placements: Mostly pharmaceutical and food safety related companies come for B.Sc. chemistry. About 20% of the students from my batch went for internship. It also helped us to face the society without fear. The curriculum has many positives as it meets all the branches of chemistry.
Placements: Courses in our college are good. Especially the arts and commerce stream, it's one of the best in the city. As far as recruiting is concerned, the students who need it should keep their ears open for information regarding placements. Commerce students have good placement opportunities here.
Placements: 90% students go for research. Can go for teaching after the course. Good placement record. The campus lab has all the facilities. Good microscope and lenses are provided. Very good and excellent subject. Lot of scope in future. Learn about new plants and become a botanical specialist.
Placements: There are quite a few students in our course as people don't know much about this course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Mainly pharmaceutical companies like Ranbaxy, Zifo RnD Solutions, Sun Pharmaceutical, etc., visited our campus for placements. The salary package offered ranges between 2-9 LPA.
Placements: Our batch received a lot of placements from different reputed companies such as Wipro, EY, RR, etc. About 50% of our seniors got placed in different companies. The highest salary offered was about Rs. 1.5 lac. Many of us got paid internships. There is a placement cell in our college, and it works quite well.
