Advanced syllabus and good placements.

Placements: The college provides quite good placements. Only final-year students can sit for placements. Companies like KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, ICICI Bank, and many other startup companies will be coming throughout the year. More students will be hired from the Commerce and Arts departments compared to the Science departments.

My degree in social work.

Placements: Stella Maris College is well known for its excellent records until now. It's a top college in Tamil Nadu, as the maximum number of students got job opportunities from our college. Also, the students get a chance to work at their dream jobs. Most of our alumni help the students get jobs.

This college is a roller coaster ride filled with fun and fear.

Placements: The placements for life sciences are generally low when compared to computer sciences and physical sciences students. About 6 of my classmates were placed in Domex and the package offered was pretty average, 2.5 LPA. Another recruiter was the pharmaceutical company Zifo which offered an annual package of 4.5 LPA. They hired 3 of our college mates from the department of mathematics. We interned in different companies such as tri biotechnology, srm medical college, Balaji medical institute, Sankar...

Review of Stella Maris College.

Placements: Top MNCs come to this college to recruit students. The minimum salary package offered is 1 LPA. All students go through different rounds of interviews, and the best experience is given to all students. This college has high credibility, and students are qualified for the courses.

We are dissatisfied because now we have online lectures in 2020-2022.

Placements: The placements are good here. Placement offers are basically based on the GPA marks. Top recruiting companies for this course would be Amazon, Deloitte, etc. The recruitment was totally based on interviews that students attend within the campus. We have trained accordingly.

Our college has a good reputation till date.

Placements: There were a lot of good placement options, and many friends got selected with an average salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. The companies that offer placements are KPMG, Earnest and Young, Goldman Sacs, Deloitte, and many more. Attending the mock placements gives us more confidence.

I am satisfied with the campus and course.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed with the help of college placements is very low. The highest salary package offered would be around 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered would be 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered would be 2.5 LPA. Top companies which recruit students of this department would be food factories for their quality analyst.

I am satisfied with the faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Only a few students got placed in college placements. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered would be 2 LPA for B.Voc food processing and quality control. Some of the top recruiters of this course would be Shakthi Masala, Major Bakeries, Hotels, etc. Some students got placed in milk factories too.

Good infrastructure with royal hostel facility, huge campus and internship opportunities.

Placements: Placements are just average and college does not care about placements. Around 75% are getting jobs by applying for it. The highest package offered is 5 lacks per annum, the lowest is 1 lack per annum and the average is 3 lacks per annum. The top recruiters would be from Aachi, Sakthi masala, leading bakeries in city etc.

Very proud student of Stella Maris college. My college is my pride.

Placements: Very few were placed in a good company with high package. Only toppers were given priority. Job opportunity for average students were really less. Very few companies came for campus interview and hired only 20 percent of the batch. Student were sent for internships.

Placements: Around 80% students were placed. The average salary was around 5lpa. The companies which came for placements are EY, Goldman Sachs, ICICI, RBS etc. The internships offered are also pretty good, quite a few companies came to take interns. The big 4 companies visit the campus during placements.

Walk in and explore Stella.

Placements: The college has a guidance cell which is very helpful in terms of recruitments. The college provides a wide variety of choices and chances. The familiarity of the college is also a bonus point when it comes to the point of the recruitment. Many well-known recruiters come for campus interviews.

Stella shines bright and boosts you.

Placements: The placement has been fairly good. Since the college is popular, it influences the factor of placements. Many famous recruiters happen to step in for campus interviews. It is a really good opportunity for the wide variety of students. It is a very prestigious opportunity too.

Stella Maris for a holistic experience.

Placements: Studying in this college opens up gates for so many placements and countless internships. Many of my classmates and friends have got internships in companies like Goldman Sachs, Google, HSBC and so on. So internships make you learn and work professionally at the same time. So mostly when you apply to intern in a company/ institution, you basically have to attend a preliminary written test (then group discussion) and finally a personal interview with the representatives. ...

A wide platform for education!

Placements: Stella Maris is a place full of promises and dreams. Every student steps out as a shining star. Placements are as easy as doing cake walks. Big companies knock the doors of this college. Students trained here are considered very experienced and eligible due to the renowned name of the college itself.

In pursuit of excellence in any field.

Placements: The placements are good but they are not open to all. Only a few students get placed. We get a job as an analyst and normally, 90% of them are not happy. The salary is satisfactory for most of the students and the selected students do have a good experience working with them.

Great canteen, good infrastructure, okay management and bad Physics department.

Placements: Students with an average of 60 percentage were eligible to apply for the various companies. Being a science student, we weren't offered many companies and the ones offered were also not under our discipline in most cases. Salary ranged from 10 thousand to a maximum of 17 thousand maybe. Most of the companies were IT and banks. As told before, the roles weren't from our discipline so we had to change the course.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Companies like Google and Capgemini came for placements. But in my particular department, we prefer to pursue higher education or get employment in organisations that deal with pharmaceuticals and drugs. You only have a chance of scoring a good, decent job if you have a postgraduate degree.

Good- The overall experience is good. The staff is friendly and will understand us.

Placements: The career guidance cell at the college is extremely helpful for the students. There are various companies which provide good jobs to the students. For example, jobs like copy editors, writers, teachers etc. The salary starts from Rs. 10,000 and it varies with each job. The maximum I have seen is about 1 lakh.
