I'm very dissatisfied with the institution.

Placements: Placements in the college are very bad. Students of the civil, mechanical and automobile engineering departments do not get placed. Only around 20% of students get placed mainly in the BPO sector. Core companies don't visit our college. Good IT companies like Infosys also do not visit our college for recruiting students. The companies recruit only 3 to 4 persons out of 3000 students.

Dissatisfied with the teaching quality, faculty, and management.

Placements: There were no placements for both our seniors and us. Few fake companies come every year just for the sake of being there. They offer sales and BPO jobs to the candidate with an average package of around 2 LPA. Thereafter, they are not responsible for the placements and the placement cell is useless.

The college has the helpful professors and a poor placement record.

Placements: Truly speaking our college does not provide the campus placements. However, the college takes the initiative to send the students for the placements held in the other colleges. JIS University invites the students of the final year for campus placements held at the university. Most of the seniors have not got jobs through the campus interviews. The college providing internships is a rare case. The students take the initiative to enrol for the internships. A handful of seniors find the employment ...

Bad college, facility, placement, faculty.

Placements: I am a final year EE student. My college gives us very poor placement from some unknown companies and some known companies. But only 2 or 3 students were selected and offered BPO or sales job. The average salary was Rs. 8-10 thousand per month. 2 people were selected by one company and they offered Rs. 50000 per month but it was also in sales. There was no job in core.
