The campus and everything else are good except for the placement.

Placements: Placements are so pathetic. After spending 4 lakhs in four years, you get 1 LPA to 1.5 LPA in BPO or KPO. It's not acceptable. Placements should be improved. More on-campus is needed. The placement cell is helpful, but they should organise more mass campusing and invite core companies. Students start their engineering journey with many dreams, but if someone comes home without a job from college after spending four years, it is the most unwanted thing in everyone's life.

Our college has good faculty members and placements.

Placements: Last year we had approximately 80% placements. The highest salary package was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package was 3 LPA. The average salary package is about 4-5 LPA. TCS, Tech Mahindra, and CTS are the top recruiting companies for CSE students. Here at the college, we have a separate training and placement cell, which takes care of your internships and placements.

The college is good but it should provide placements.

Placements: No placements are provided to the mechanical engineering students. We are suffering a lot in this pandemic due to nil placements in college. No internships and no industrial tours are provided. We have not experienced any interviews. The college should provide placements to the students.

I am satisfied because of good faculty members, placements and helpful professors.

Placements: Almost 75% of the students get placed in college. But students can do internships with many companies. Electrical is a good subject not only for you (degree) but even for your future. So you can learn our daily life electrical instruments easily.

It is a good college but they need to focus more on core placements.

Placements: I'm studying electrical and electronics but not a single core company visited for placements. We are only offered IT companies. I think the TPO should focus more on bringing some core companies for core branches. The IT companies that are visiting are not providing good salary packages.

Really satisfied about my experience in SVIST.

Placements: Placements from Svist are of fairly good proportion. Out of 120 students in our department, 40 got selected in campus interview. So 33% placement is fairly well. Maruti, Tata Motors and Hyundai came to recruit students of my department. Recruitment was done mainly for the job role as 'junior engineer'. Tata Motors offered Rs. 14,000 package for our selected candidates which is the highest this time while Maruti offered 11,500 which is the lowest package offered. 25% students were selected for i...
