The campus life is outstanding, and the college students are very friendly.

Placements: The placement rate in our branch is not that high, but for CS and IT courses, placements are quite high. Some good companies like Microsoft visit our college every year. The average salary offered ranges from 3-4 LPA if you clear all the interview rounds. Our college provides good placements to students, so the chance of students getting placed is very high. The average salary offered is pretty high as compared to the other colleges. The college management gives full support in the placement pro...

I would suggest others not to join this college as it is a waste of time.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our batch got placed through off-campus placement, including me. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Tech giants like TCS, Wipro Technologies and Cognizant were the mass recruiters.

I am dissatisfied because of faulty members, placement, and infrastructure in 2019.

Placements: No core companies visit the campus for placements. Only some fake or very low rated management or BPO companies come here. Few students get placed but no companies come to recruit from our course. The college doesn't provide any internship. It is a bad campus. They don't try to call good companies for recruitment.

The college is not up to the mark, but the mechanical engineering department is quite good.

Placements: Placements in the college are very poor. Most of the companies offer low packages of 1.20 LPA. Basically KPO and BPO companies come for recruiting students, and most of the students do not get placed. There are some fake placements also. So, the college placement records are very poor.

Take admission at your own risk though mechanical dept. Is quite good than others.

Placements: Now a days it is a question to all the students and their parents if I get a job after completing their B.Tech if I studied in this college. My answer for those students technically yes but practically no. In this market of competition it is really to get a job by a student. In west Bengal their are so many colleges which are giving you an opportunity to get your degree. But very few can place after giving you degree. This college also give you that degree. This college also give you a job for y...

If you want to destroy you four years of life, then this is the best place available.

Placements: SVIST is known for its fake companies. If you ever visit the college official page, you will find the big companies like L&T, HUL, Accenture, TCS, CTS, and various other companies, but all of those are eyewash. Don't expect average package more than 1.2 LPA. If you want to join this college, then don't expect the placement cell to help you out. The ROI (return on investment) is about 20% of fees if you are lucky enough to get a good job.

Don't waste your career at Swami Vivekananda institute of Science and technology.

Placements: Placement is just a fantasy word when it comes to Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology. The placement cell in my college is absolutely inactive and really doesn't bother to bring good companies for campusing. Majority of the companies they bring are fake. They won't offer you salary and probably you won't get paid after a month. Maximum package they offer is 1 to 1.2lakhs per annum. But if you see the college website, there you'll see list of many companies such as LNT, Infosys,...

Please don't join this college if you are looking for better placements and facu.

Placements: If you visit the college official page you will find that various renowned companies like accenture, cts, tcs, hul, L&T visited the college. But all this are lie, they bring companies that you never heard of and about 80% of the companies are fake. If you want to join this college then don't expect anything at the end of your final year.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements and faculty

Placements: If anyone is looking for placements, I think that it is not a good idea opting for this college then. Mostly BPO/BPS companies have visited the campus. and if anyone is in the mechanical stream it is better to forget about getting placed in a core company. The salary offered by the BPO companies is around 1.5 lakh INR at locations like Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. Overall, the campus placements are very poor.

The Beginning: When I got my seat in the CSE stream of the Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology through AP EAMCET counseling procedure, I went to the college campus in the middle of the city to get the feel about the college. The biggest plus point of this college is its position in the prime real estate of the city. It is located in the heart of Secunderabad. I spoke to a few seniors, and they advised me against joining the college but I did anyway. The Faculty: The first year had good fac...

You will get the best teachers' support and best surroundings.

Placements: About 60% of the students got placed from the EEE department. The fee varies from Rs. 20,000 per semester to up to Rs. 42,000 per semester. This college doesn't conduct campus placements in companies like Tata, Infosys, etc. It actually provides poor campus placements. However, internships are offered with a certificate in fields like CNC, design and many more.

Not very satisfactory college.

Placements: The college would bring mostly BPOs small to medium sized companies. The average salary offered is a pittance. As someone who is moderately good academically and snagged most jobs that came my way, the best I was offered was 1.8 LPA. It will however arrange for massive off campus drives where you have to fight for one moderately good paying job (3LPA) against hundreds. Not one well known company came our way and most students lost hope of getting a "good" job from the college. There was even an ...
