Our college has good value for money and provides knowledge to students.
Placements: Our college provides 100% placements for students. Top recruiting companies are Whirlpool, Accenture, Infosys, IBM, etc. The salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA and 16 LPA. After doing interior designing, students can work as interior designers, commercial space designers, retail space designers, residential space designers, lighting and furniture designers, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college and hostel are well-facilitated with 24X7 service of Wi-Fi. Our college has computer labs, an amphitheater, an auditorium, and well-designed labs. The food served in the hostel is good and well-balanced. Our college provides medical insurance for students up to Rs.100000.
Faculty: Our faculty members are knowledgeable and very helpful. They organise industrial visits, which provide us with industry knowledge. The course curriculum makes us industry-ready. Placements: 40–45% of the students get on-campus placements from the Symbiosis Institute of Design. The average package offered here in our course was between 3 and 6 LPA. The top recruiters at our college were Sampada, Reliance, Tata lifestyle, Resham, Puma, Bewakoof, etc. The top roles offered at the college were fashion designer, product designer, etc.
Infrastructure: This college had a good infrastructure for the Bachelor of Design program. Facilities such as labs, libraries, canteens, Wi-Fi, sports and other kinds of necessary facilities were available at this college. Our college also has hostel facilities for its students. Mess food was good to eat at the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty of our institute was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in this course. Teachers were giving proper guidance to the students. The quality of the teaching was also good. Placements: The roles offered in our course are fashion styling, visual merchandiser, fashion marketing, consultant, etc. Around 100% of placements are provided in companies like IBM, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. The highest salary package offered in 2022 was 14 LPA and the lowest salary package was 5 LPA to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good infrastructure. There are workshops and labs like wood workshops, metal workshops, garment labs, photography studios, etc. Good Wi-Fi facilities are provided. It has a resourceful library that is up to date with every book, magazine, or reference book required for courses. The hostel is located 1.5 kilometers away from the college. It provides badminton for students at different intervals of the day. The hostel has a significant structure with a very hard-working staff. Students have to apply for the hostel by sending an email to the email ID. Our college then responds within a day about the hostel allotment. There are two hostels namely, Dasiy and Orchid which have different fees. The allotment is decided by the college during admission. The hostel has a very good mess that serves meals four times a day.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are diligent in every course. They are easy to interact with and are very helpful to first-year students. They are highly qualified and very knowledgeable in every field of design. The course curriculum is very relevant as it involves practical work for students so that they experience working from the beginning. Our college conducts timely examinations for every course.
Other: Our batch has 180 students which include students from various design courses like fashion designing, graphic designing, interior space designing, industrial design, etc. It gives a good campus life. There are various portfolios and clubs that work well to organise different concerts and events without any hurdles. Students enjoy these events and look forward to the upcoming ones.

Placements: Our course includes specializations in branding, styling, and visual merchandising. Fashion communication graduates can work independently or as stylists, visual merchandisers, art directors, set designers, trend forecasters, graphic designers, etc. Some of the major employers are Accenture, Tata Motors, Firstcry, H&M Kuwait, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: SID offers the best facilities for students to receive a quality education. There are dedicated labs for each specialisation with computers and machines of the highest quality for hands-on learning. The library on campus is well-equipped with various books that students can borrow at any given time. We have excellent Wi-Fi available for students on campus as well as in the hostel. The hostel has clean and hygienic rooms for students. The canteen has a huge menu for students to choose from and the mess has diverse food options for home-like food.
Faculty: Our faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. There are lectures and marked assignments for each class, depending on the credits of the class. Students are marked based on participation, creativity, and originality. SID is an open and safe space for students to showcase and express art in their way. The courses available are extremely beneficial as students learn how the industry works. At the end of the term, judges are assigned to each course to review the assignments done during the semester. Students are marked separately for internal assessments as well as external juries.
Other: Fashion communication is a relatively new course in India and is the perfect choice for fashion enthusiasts who wish to work in the industry. It provides students with knowledge about fashion from perspectives other than design. Classes like graphic design and photography widen the opportunities for the students. After studying fashion communication, students will have a lot of opportunities. SID has a student council that includes several committees or portfolios for students to join. Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. Summer internships are also offered. The highest salary package offered ranges from 12 LPA - 14 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA - 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, IBM, Accenture, etc. In this course, we can work as fashion stylists, retail space designers, event and set designers, brand visualizers, graphic designers, event and set designers, and visual merchandisers.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available on campus. Classrooms are spacious. SID also has a proper library with a reading room to which we have full access during college hours. We also have a graphic laboratory with iMacs to work on the software. The mess and canteen facilities are also available. The food quality is great. We also have a health care center on campus for medical emergencies. There is a ground opposite our college where we can play sports. We also have access to all Symbiosis campuses so we can use any ground to play sports. The hostel facilities are great. The rooms in the girls' hostel are very spacious. The food quality is better. Wardens and staff members are very understanding. We also have a tuck shop in the basement of our hostel which provides us with all the necessities.
Faculty: Professors are experienced designers. They are very knowledgeable and help us understand basic topics. Our course curriculum is relevant because it allows us to deal with every little step before taking a big leap. They also provide practical knowledge and make us ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. We have a jury that includes internal and external examiners. The passing percentage is 45%.

Aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent or Class 10 along with three-year Diploma with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for the BDes course. Additionally, candidates appearing for the final year exam can also apply for any of the BDes specialisation. The institute offers BDes in four major disciplines, namely Communication Design (Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Animation, Film Design, Video Film Design), Industrial Design (Product Design, Interior Space Design), Fashion Design and Fashion Communication. After filling the application form, aspirants are required to appear for Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) followed by Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction.

The M.Des program at SID will be delivered in a hybrid mode. Classes will be available in both online and offline modes. Also, classes will be weekends and evenings.
