Challenge: Make us perfect.
Placements: The placement is decent. One can expect anything between 8 Lacs to 12 Lacs on average salary. Mostly non-core jobs in Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and many multinational organizations are coming to campus. Internship opportunities are not so good. Zero stipends are offered by a few companies, and project-based internship stipends are not more than 15,000 a month.
Infrastructure: The college is located in the IT park of Pune; all hotels and transport are accessible. The entire course is hectic; many projects and assessments are conducted in digital labs. Libraries are both online and offline; in offline libraries, limited books are available. Hostel rooms have attached washrooms and accommodation for three people in one room. 3 single beds. Food is good and hygienic; both veg and non-veg food are served. On special occasions, the menu is different.
Faculty: Teachers are professionals who are highly educated and skilled. Exams are held twice a semester. The difficulty mainly depends on the subjects for the exam and the understanding and implementation of concepts required, like finance, microeconomics, GDP, etc. Overall, exams are not tough; mostly classroom questions are asked in exams. The syllabus is very vast, covering all concepts.

Q:   How is SNAP different from other management entrance exams?

A:

SNAP features three major sections, namely General English Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The test lasts for 60 minutes and comprises 60 questions, with each correct answer earning one mark and a 0.25 mark deduction for each incorrect response. Additionally, the exam is conducted in online mode, making it a more convenient option for test-takers.

The SNAP 2023 syllabus encompasses a broad range of topics, including Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude Data Interpretation, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. To make it to the next round of the selection process, candidates must meet the required cut-off score and impress the selection panel during Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test (GE-PIWAT).

Compared to other management entrance exams like CAT XAT and MAT SNAP 2023 is a refreshing change of pace. With its shorter duration, fewer questions, and different selection process, it provides candidates with a unique opportunity to demonstrate their skills and stand out from the crowd.

Q:   Which exam is more difficult among SNAP and MAH CET? What is the difference between the both?

A:
Hello! Compared to CET, SNAP is slightly difficult because of two main reasons: negative marking and the GK section(absent in CET). Having said that, both require dedicated preparation so that one can clear these exams with high scores. The top B-schools to apply under SNAP: SIBM, SCMHRD & SIIB(all located in Pune). And for CET: JBIMS, SIMSREE(Sydenham), Somaiya(SIMSR) & Welingkar - all in Mumbai. https://www.shiksha.com/mba/exams/snap https://www.shiksha.com/mba/exams/mah-cet Kindly visit these links for more details.

Q:   Is SNAP exam score the only criterion for SIIB MBA admission?

A:

No, clearing the SNAP exam is not the only criterion for SIIB admission. The candidates will also have to clear a personality assessment test which includes Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round to be selected for SIIB admission. This personality assessment round is conducted after SNAP result announcement and only those candidates are eligible who meet the SNAP cut off fixed by the institutes.

Apart from that, the institutes evaluate every shortlisted candidate’s academic record, i.e. score of class 10, 12 and graduation. Those who have been scoring consistently well in academics too, stand a better chance of getting selected for admission. Marks relaxation for academic and gender diversity, and work experience are also important factors for selection.

Q:   Does Symbiosis Institute of International Business offer admission to foreign students?

A:

Yes, definitely. Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) is one of India's the finest for MBA in International Business schools in India offering a unique synergy in the curriculum as it spires to foster cross-cultural understanding through ethical and value-based learning. Admission in SIIB isn't limited to just Indian students, rather it offers admission to foreign/international students as well. Infact, not only this, the opportunity for foreign students is greater than Indian students as they'll be subjected to a rich and diverse environment. One thing I would like to say that the fees structure will definitely be double of that for Indian students. It'll land smwhr around 6-8 L approximately (just an idea, might change). But yes, this amount will be worth spending in such a great institution which offers 100%job placement in leading MNCs and also provide international student exchange program.
