Just try to join our college, you will love it.
Placements: We have done B.A. honors in Bengali and everyone knows that by doing honors in Bengali courses a student can not get an internship. There was no company to recruit us directly. There are more than 120 students in the Bengali department of our college. After completion of the honors course, some of our friends got jobs with an average salary of 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Bengali department of our college was very good. All the basic facilities were available there. Wi-Fi is always available. All types of books are available in the library. The hostel was very good. There were no questions about the quality of the food provided by the hostel. Medical support is always available there. Both indoor and outdoor games are available with coaches.
Faculty: There were about 12 teachers in our Bengali department. They are very helpful to students and are highly educated and qualified. Their teaching quality was very good. It makes a student for the next level of education or job. But our semester exam was quite hard though. Sometimes we become unable to complete the whole syllabus before the exam.
Other: I love Bengali subjects, we talk in Bengali so I chose the course. It makes me proud. I think the syllabus needs to be improved for the semester examination. There are events every month in our college. The campus surrounding is very good and healthy for education, and it is not too crowded.

I have given my review based on my experience.
Placements: Placements are not good. We do not have different placement cell. Placement process is not easy and pleasant teachers and other company experts take mock rounds. Preparation for placements does not start from the third year itself. Internships are not provided. They do not engage with different seminars and workshops to develop communication skills from the first year.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is not good enough. Classrooms are not spacious and ventilated properly. No various advanced technology is present in our classrooms like smart boards. Different labs are available for different courses. Wi-Fi facility is not available throughout the campus. The library does not consist of any technical books and the online website is to download soft copies of newly launched books. The living space is not clean and the food is not hygienic.
Faculty: The cost of the course per year is almost around Rs.15000. It is worthy because good guidance is provided over here. An updated syllabus provides the student a huge platform to explore their interest and different competitions conducted in college. The exams challenge students to check their capabilities. So, it is worthy.

Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya is the pride of students.
Placements: A maximum of 3500 students get placements. Placements are not that high here. You can expect a good salary if you are from the course B.Com (Hons) economics Hons, Maths Hons, and so on. Our course would give you placements, but you need to develop some job-oriented skills for that.
Infrastructure: The library is great. All types of books were available there. Food is also good. Sports are taken very seriously here. Our college has an ambulance for emergency use.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good, especially in the English department. Semester exams are not very tough if you read properly. 35% is the passing percentage. Our college provides good value for money because we have good teachers who can explain and clarify our doubts easily.
Other: English Hons gives you all the information about the past and helps you maintain a proper and stylish life with people. This is the best college because staff members support students in every activity. They encourage students to participate in events. They also conduct webinars to create awareness about projects and workshops. The surroundings of our college give a really pleasant feeling. We have many fests organised by the college itself. We have a lot of fun and good academic standards.

Review of Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya.
Placements: There are no job facilities in our college because it is a degree course. After B.A. Honours, we can sit for the exam of School Service Commission. We can opt for higher studies. It conducts training sessions to develop the skills of students.
Infrastructure: During my tenure, the hostels were not so good. Some students also take the hostel facility, but I did not. The rooms were not clean. Nowadays, it is good. But the hostel rooms are small, and no Wi-Fi is available. There is no big library in the hostel area. There are no teachers in the hostel, which is a big problem.
Faculty: The course structure is a combination of lectures and project works. Exams are conducted at the end of every semester, and there are 6 semesters, 2 in each year. Students are given business practice and personality development classes too. So, we get difficult questions in semester exams.
Other: Various extracurricular activities are conducted to encourage discussions and sportsmanship among students. The college conducts debates, seminars, magazines, NSS, NCC, different games and sports. All sports facilities are available here, like football, cricket etc. There are no religious activities and no sexual orientation. Some political issues happened during the elections.
