Diploma in Computer Science and Technology - Batch of 2025
3.8
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
This is the best college to take admission in with low fees.
Placements: 60% of students were placed in my course, which is Computer Science and Technology. The highest salary package is around 10-12 LPA, the lowest is around 2-3 LPA, and the average is around 4.5-5 LPA. TCS, HCL, Dell, Samsung, Infosys, L&T, Mahindra, and Amazon are some of the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24/7, and the infrastructure for our courses, such as labs, library, and classrooms, is good. The canteen, banks, and playground are all well-maintained. However, I'm dissatisfied with the Diploma block as it lacks good infrastructure. I would not recommend taking admission in the Diploma program at Tripura Institute of Technology.
Faculty: The teachers here are more than capable, and most of them (90%) teach very well and are always ready to help. However, there are a few who are rude and remain that way regardless of the situation. Those teachers should be replaced with others who are more capable and supportive.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Technology because I like computers and the internet, and I want to use my skills to contribute to improving my society and the world.

Comprehensive and Industry-Relevant Curriculum with Scope for Improvement.
Placements: 30% to 40% of students get placed in our institute every year. Last year approximately 7 LPA were offered by the company and each year the highest average package is about 5 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS etc. are coming to our college. Mostly students got placed in the post of IT support executive.
Infrastructure: Our branch has good facilities. We have a proper computer lab, analogue lab, digital lab, and Simulation lab, We also visit labs that help us in many ways. Our canteen is also very good. The quality of food is also too good. Quantity is also sufficient.
Faculty: Yes, our teacher is also very knowledgeable, and they are very friendly too. Their teaching skill is also very good. They teach us from a practical perspective way so that we can be knowledgeable enough to take a job in the industry. The semester exam is quite average not too tough and not too easy.
Other: I love this subject and course because I have an interest in microchips and also in communication technology.

Average college with no social life.
Placements: 40% of the students who apply for the placements get placed. The lowest package is 1 LPA.
The highest package is 5 LPA.
The average package is 2 LPA.
Companies that come for recruitment include Capgemini, TripuraInfo, Pran, JBM, Infosys, and other small companies. Almost 80% of the students got internships in government-owned companies like ONGC, TRTC, etc. I don't really know about the roles offered, but I want to add that more than 70% of the students apply for government exams like banking and railway jobs and go for GATE after pursuing this degree.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent; there are no hostel or dorm services here though. Students have to take care of their own travel and accommodation facilities. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors along with normal boards and enough capacity for 100 students. We have a newly inaugurated auditorium, a done center, an AICTE lab, and a 5G lab. Most washrooms are kept hygienic by the caretakers, and the canteen serves good-quality food and is budget-friendly too. In the library, you can find pretty much all the necessary essentials.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful except for a few who might come off as rude. Most teachers are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is as per updated AICTE rules, industry-ready as well. Exams aren't that tough as long as you study for them and do not procrastinate.

I am not satisfied with our college for not providing placements in 2019.
Placements: Our college provided only a few placements. There was no recruitment for our course. Students did not get placed in our course. The salary packages were not offered to our course students. Students did not get internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Our department provided facilities. It had well-equipped classrooms with smart equipment, smart boards, whiteboards, etc. We had a well-stocked library. It had all types of books. Our college provided security to ensure the safety of students and the campus infrastructure.
Faculty: All faculty members were very good, helpful, and friendly. They had good knowledge of their personalised subjects. They showed the easiest way to understand the subject. Exams were average. The pass percentage was around 85-90%.

Our College is a very good college. Very Satisfied by the teachers.
Placements: In the placement program roughly 90% students participated. Packages from 5 LPA to 10 LPA are offered. 6 LPA was the average package. The majority of companies come from IT industry which includes brands like HCL. Majority of students get Internship. Roles offered to students are Web designer, and developer to name a few.
Infrastructure: Facility offered in our college are fantastic. Internet is adequate. Hi-tech computers are provided. Air conditioning is also provided in the labs. The learning environment is perfect for students and helps the student in every aspect. Overall the hostel has great infrastructure but the food offered by mess is of poor quality. Sports facilities are excellent.
Faculty: The teachers are highly knowledgeable, motivating and experienced in their domains. They train every student properly. They make students ready for industry. 70% students graduate from our college.
Other: I chose this course because Diploma Electrical Engineering is the mother branch & marketing Level of this course is also High.

Tripura Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement is very less as of now, but this year TCS came, and recruitment is now high. The highest package is 5-6 LPA and the lowest 2-3 LPA. 80% of students get internships. As it is a government college, only 50% of students get placements, so for placement, you should try off-campus placement.
Infrastructure: No hostel is there. You have to come on your own, and no bus service is there. I will recommend taking a rental house nearby. If you come from far, then you should use a bike or scooter. Wi-Fi is there, and classrooms are big, with smart boards in every class.
Faculty: Faculty is very good. For Computer Science and Electrical, it is good, but I am not sure about other branches. So, if you want to join this college, you can. Semester exams are not so easy, not so tough. If you study, you can pass. Since it is a government college, you can choose.
