Review of CSJM - Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University.

Placements: There is a little chance to get a good placement at the college for CSE students. Students got an internship and job at the college, and they are performing good in their career. About 50-60% of the students got an internship in Indian IT companies. A top role offered to the students is a software engineer.

Average government college with adopted IIT pattern.

Placements: Placements are good at CSE and IT. But this year one student from Mechanical got the highest package of 12 Lacs. There is no campus placement in Chemical Engineering. You have to depend on your GATE score. Everyone gets a good internship after 3rd years because it's a government college and just a recommendation letter from this college is enough for an internship.

It is an above-average college which allows you to learn more than just technical qualities.

Placements: Placements in our college have been above-average so far. Companies which visit here offer a salary package ranging from 3-15 LPA. Students who scored 60% of marks in their academics from the college receives an internship. However, most of the students go for higher education after their bachelor's degree.

It is an average college with good infrastructure, average faculty and average placements.

Placements: About 20% of students in our course get placed every year. The highest salary package offered in our course is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies Wipro and Infosys visit our campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is a coder. Our college has a better environment to pursue bachelor degree and to be ready for the future.

Placements: Nearly about 10% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was about Rs. 17,000 per month. The main recruiting companies of our course were Berger Paints and chemical companies. Process engineer and a quality engineer are the top roles offered in our course. About 95% of the students have interned themselves in IOCL, GACL, IFCCO, etc.

The infrastructure and faculty of UIET are good, but the placements need to be improved.

Placements: Placements in UIET are quite average. The best way for students to get placed in a reputed MNC is by attending some pool campus drives organised in different parts of the state. In the previous year, some reputed brands such as Barclays and Capgemini visited the college and offered jobs to around 15 students with quite a handsome package. From my batch, around 60% of the total strength got placed somehow.

Placements: Placement cell is working hard to establish the college amongst the reputed MNCs but in this tough competitive time it's quite hard for them too. As far as Chemical Engineering is concerned not much companies visit for this core branch. KFCL is the only one that took Chemical graduates. For other branches CS IT and EC there were certain companies who offered a package ranging between 3-3.5 LPA. Byjus also conducted a drive to select candidates for the post of Sales Executive. Teachers are great here, but the college doesn't provide any placement opportunities.

Placements: Being a government college, placement opportunities provided here were very low. A few students get placed from the CS and IT departments. But most of the students got placed through pool campus drives. There were no placements for chemical, mechanical and metallurgical engineering branches. The placement cell was formed a few years back, so it was not that active.

It is a government college with low fee, but the placements are nil here.

Placements: For the chemical department, there were almost no placements. Students graduating from the chemical department have to either look for a job on their own or pursue higher studies like MBA or M.Tech in their field of interest. Students in our batch attended for companies which are not offering jobs in their respective field of study. Students studying in CS and IT branches find some opportunities with a limited number of companies that are visiting the college for placements. They are also sent t...

Faculty members are the reason why I'm not suggesting you to take admission here.

Placements: The placements of UIET are not any different from other engineering colleges. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Jagran Group visited the campus. Even many other companies also visited here for placements.

It is a good college with a less burden of studies.

Placements: Placement records of UIET are very poor in 2018. None of the core companies visited the institute for placements. Some firms like Dainik Jagran visited the campus for placements. But no student who completed his/her B.Tech course expects to work with a salary of Rs. 20,000 per month by signing a 3-4 years bond. Now, the new director took the responsibilities of the CSE department. So we hope for better results.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure, placements and faculty.

Placements: Placements for our batch are going on. Around 65% of the students from the senior batch got placed in the campus placements. The highest package offered was 6 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 2.5 lacs per annum. The college has a very robust and inefficient placement cell.

A budget-friendly college, and students get a lot of free time.

Placements: The placements in the college are bad. The college doesn't care much for the placements of students. They only make us take part in pool campus placements in other institutes which are in and out the city, where there is very less possibility to get hired. There is a placement cell, but they don't care much, and they won't event provide good facilities and respond properly if any company visits the college.

The fee is low, as well as you can get time to prepare for other examinations.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities and don't even care about the placements. No company visit the college, and you have to go to pool campus drives that are organised by other institutes. The only advantage is that the students are mainly preparing for GATE and CAT exams for their good future, but you can't get sufficient time for the preparation.

It is an average college with unexpectedly low college placements.

Placements: There is a placement cell in this college, and they do make their efforts to get the students placed. In our senior batch, only a couple of students got placed. The percentage of students that can gain paid internships is quite low. Also, students who are placed get a very low salary.

It is an average college with good infrastructure.

Placements: Only companies like Byju's, Wipro, TCS, etc., recruited the students of ECE, CS and MSME branches. Our college has a low placement record, but it allows us for the off-campus placements. We have external connections which allow us to sit for the placements.

A good college for engineering.

Placements: Only a few companies visit the campus for placements, and one of the companies that visit the college is TCS. Overall, the placements are not very good, and they are just average. Sometimes, the students are sent to the other colleges for campus interviews. Most of the students refuse to attend the interviews as they want to pursue B.Tech or MBA. This may be the reason for the average placements.

Absolutely satisfied from the college.

Placements: In my personal opinion students can't rely on campus placement in this college percentage of campus placement is very low. Very few companies come to college for placement students having very high percentile only have scope for college placement. Companies like infosys tcs etc. Come to college for placement packages around 2.5lac pa is offered.

CSJMU- Infrastructure (4/5), faculty (3/5), events (3/5), facilities (4/5), and placements (2/5).

Placements: Regarding placements in CSJMU, it is not that goods for B.Tech branches, but yes several students are placed by taking part in the pool campus drives, and most of them are getting placed in the off-campus drives. Two of my seniors were placed via pool campus with a package of 7 LPA, and those who were placed through off-campus got a package of about 4-5 LPA.

Placements: Though my college is an autonomous college, placement is very poor. The package goes up to max 3 LPA but for few only. Very less amount of students is placed yearly. Students have to go for pool placements in other colleges like PSIT. The highest salary is about 3.5 LPA, the average is about 2 LPA. There is no support by the side of college for placements.
