Fully satisfied because of faculty and administration staff, good placement since 2013, awesome inra

Placements: The placement was around 60-70% in 2014 with a package of 3.2lakh p. AAT average in various disciplines. The placement has now increased upto around 80% with higher packages. The placement cell of the U. I. E. T. is very efficient in its duty and provides all kinds of information, help and support to its students.

UIET, a beautiful and growing college with effort and hard work.

Placements: The placements in UIET aren't great as many companies don't offer any placements to the students of this college. Falling short of budget, the college also didn't support the companies. However, the placements in our college are not worst as many students got placed in Infosys and HCL.

If you UPTU score is not good, I'll suggest you to go for this college instead of a private college.

Placements: Frankly speaking, the placement here is below average. Hardly any company visits the campus. However, there is a placement cell which is really inactive. Students need to go to other colleges for placement. Last year, only 5 seniors of our branch got placed with the maximum package of 3.2 lacs per year. Currently, in my batch, 4 students got placed with 3.2 lacs per year in Wipro company. The internship is compulsory for every student, but no is help provided by college regarding this. You need ...

Overall reviews for gaining knowledge in this college is good.

Placements: We can not say that the placement is not good. There are also average packages offered to the students. The highest salary provided to the CSE (computer science and engineering) student, and the average salary is above 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. But there are no good placements for other trades like the chemical, etc.

I am satisfied because faculty are helpful and infrastructure is great. But placement is very poor.

Placements: The placement in our college is very poor. No company visits our college. We depend on the pool campus recruitment. 50% of CSE & IT students got placed in pool campus recruitment. The highest salary was Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum. The average salary Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. No internship is available from our college.

Very good infrastructure and facilities

Placements: I am a CSE 3rd-year student of UIET Kanpur. The placement in UIET is not too good except for the computer science and engineering branch. There is a good placement for CSE students but not for all other branches. The CSE faculty team is good compared to other faculty members and in recent years, there are average placements of 16 to 20 students from CSE, but the average placement for all other branches is nearly 20-30%.

Really good Infrastructure but low placements.

Placements: The placement scenario was not very good but if off-campus placements are considered, nearly 50-60% of the batch got placed. Many off-campus pool drives were conducted by the college which helped in getting good placements for students from computer science, electronics and communication, and information technology. Most of the roles offered were in IT domain and marketing.

Great college, join if placements don't matter.

Placements: The overall placements for the college are below average, though if you compare it to our department (MSME), IT and CSE departments still get some companies on the campus for their students. There is a placement cell which is working and compared to our times, the placements have got better. Infosys and Capgemini have started to visit the campus, though most of the students till gave to appear for other placement tests like E-litmus and go for placement drives. Placements need improvement. Also,...

Below average college. It is okay for those who are not concerned about placements.

Placements: This is not the place if you are thinking about campus hiring. Zero placements. I got invited for 2 pool campus drives in nearby colleges. Even if any company visits, it's not worth sitting for that. Infosys and Aptean were the only two off-campus drives which we attended.

University Institute of Engineering and Technology, CSJM University.

Placements: Many companies visited and many off-campus drives took place in which they called our college students to participate. Companies like TCS, IGate, ESS, HP, etc. were there to recruit the students from our college. In my batch, out of 48 students, more than 22 were placed. The others went for higher studies.

Good campus, good faculty but below average placements.

Placements: Placements are bad, especially for core branches as almost no companies visit the campus. The placements for IT and CSE departments are decent. Most of the students have to go for off-campus placement drives. The offers offered to the students are mostly in information technology and technical BPOs. The average salary one gets here is from 2 LPA-3.5 PA. Around 50% of the students don’t sit for placements and either prepare for PSUs or take other entrance exams. The placements are getting a bit b...

A decent college with excellent infrastructure and facilities. Placements need to be improved.

Placements: The placements are good for computer Science, IT and electronics departments. Not so great for MSE and mechanical. Very few companies come to the campus and most of the students go for either off campus placement drives or take PSU exams. The package offered to the students here ranges from 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. Apart from that, personality development and aptitude tests are conducted for the students during the placement season. This is one area this college needs to work on. ...

My review for CSJM University, Kanpur.

Placements: The placement in my batch was very good. 61% students of our batch were placed. The lowest salary and the highest salary offered are 39,000 p/m by Wipro Solutions and 2,90,000 by BSEP Electronics respectively. Many companies had gathered on the campus among which Wipro, BSEB Electronics, Fortune and Pidilite are the major ones.

Good college and a good infrastructure.

Placements: The highest salary offered at that time was 11 lakhs and the placements were also good. My seniors also received good packages, we were trained to get the interviews and were guided by our esteemed teachers. I was also placed, took advice from my teachers, visted the seminars on how to get a better job and got a job worth 6 lacs per annum. I like the way students are placed here with top companies, workshops, and various discussions take place to facilitate students to be placed and this also in...

CSJMU is a good and government university.

Placements: It is a government college. The placement of my previous batch is good. Many companies visited the campus. They gave the placements and best opportunity to students to do something for the development of the country. In this college above 60%, of the students were placed. The company gives the highest salary 7 lacs per annum, and the average placement is 4 lakhs per annum as IBM, INFOSYS, TCS, Capgemini and so many companies visited the college. Great infrastructure of college with average placements.

Placements: Placement in my college was average overall. Not a big, famous company came for recruitment but yes placements were there. From my knowledge, about 50% students were placed in campus, and rest 50% must have tried for off campus. So I have no idea about them. The best package was approx. 6 lakhs per annum, average was about 3-4 lakhs per annum, and lowest was 2 lakhs per annum from my source of knowledge. The companies that arrived at our college were Informatica, Oracle India Ltd & Trigent So...

A good place if you want yourself to get prepared for higher level of study like GATE, CAT.

Placements: Very few or no companies visit the campus for the recruitment. The students mostly have to depend on the nearby technical colleges for interviews. The students get selected outside they are mainly from the CSE or IT branch. Last year, approximately 25-30 students got off-campus jobs from the CSE department and 20 were from the IT department.

Somewhat satisfied as the faculty are cooperative to students. average placement above average infra

Placements: There was an average placement rate for the college with the highest placement of 7 lakhs when I joined the college. Infosys, Wipro and some more companies visited the campus. About 30 percent students got selected from a batch, and the university organises placement drives every year for the students. For CS and IT, basically, typing and coding-related work is offered.

Miss the college life and beautiful campus with such facilities.

Placements: I was placed in J K Technosoft at a good package. Being a Computer Science student and getting placed into an IT company was excellent. The college has a placement cell which includes the faculty of all branches. Placement cell organizes placement drives by inviting companies of all branches to the campus. Even it organises pool campus placement whenever required.
