Very bad place to complete your graduation because of the lacking faculty and opportunities.
Placements: The university does not have a placement cell, and no companies come to campus for on-campus placements. As a result, there are zero placements, and no students have received high or low packages.
Infrastructure: The engineering department is a two-story building with four classrooms and two computer labs. Each classroom has air conditioning and a projector for digital demonstrations. The library is well stocked with the books required for the courses offered on campus. Water filters are provided in every building. The hostel is located about 3 kilometers from the campus and is accessible by a dedicated bus route. The hostel mess is run by students, and the food and cooking areas are hygienic. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi on campus or in the hostel, and the internet connectivity in the area is poor. Finally, there is an on-site general physician, but no sports are played on campus because there is no playground.
Faculty: Some of the faculty were helpful, but the quality of teaching was not fine. The curriculum was outdated and not up to industry standards. It was very difficult to pass semester exams, and there were a lot of students who were held back. The university intentionally fails students to milk them for exam fees.
Other: Our college campus is lacking in its curriculum, teaching outdated subjects instead of industry-standard education. There are very few events, and those are mostly formal. The campus is isolated, situated about 60 kilometers from the city. On the plus side, the campus is surrounded by greenery, and cellular connectivity is okay, although there is no Wi-Fi.

Please do not go to this college; you will regret it.
Placements: The placement of North Campus is not good, and there is no proper placement in our college. Our placement cell is not good, and companies like Saras Analytical come to our college, but hire no one. As I talked to seniors, they were just not interested in our college.
Infrastructure: Don't talk about the infrastructure; the infrastructure is not good. Only one building has three classrooms, and the classrooms are good, with two ACs in each class and proper technology. But the labs are below average, with old PCs that have no power and are not capable of running basic software.
Faculty: The faculty is average, having maximum number of contractual teachers and only 2-3 permanent professors, and I will tell you the permanent professors are not good, but most of the contractual professors are good; they support us, but overall, the teaching staff according to teaching is bad.
Other: I chose the course because it was very near my home. Everything needs to be improved. Yes, some events take place, but not many.

Good university but lacks a bit in infrastructure.
Placements: Very low placements takes place in this campus. You majorly have to do other courses along with it to get a job directly after B.Teach. Because placements are very low these years and do not expect it to get back to normal so its better to do some courses.
Infrastructure: Department is good enough for studies and enjoyment. Not that big but sufficient. Three labs are there for each subject. These labs are used from your first sem directly so that you get practical knowledge as well and teachers are also great minded they will help you always.
Faculty: Great faculty and curriculum is also as per trend so everything is completed in the course and exams are also on time. Many languages are also taught in the programme python, Java, c etc. So overall everything is added in the syllabus and don't stress too much.

I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: In starting, 5 Companies visited our campus. Almost 60% of the students got a job offer. In which, 40% got selected for internships and jobs. An average package of Rs.4 Lpa to Rs.6.5 Lpa is offered by the companies. Many companies that visited our campus includes Infosys, Radiance technologies, Juspay, Lelafe, TCS. The campus promises us for more placements in future. The university of Kashmir also signed a deal With TCS for job and internship opportunities with an average package of Rs.9 Lpa.
Infrastructure: There is cafeteria available. Both boys and girls hostel are available in the campus. There are 7 buses for students and almost 90 percent of the students and teachers are from Srinagar who avail the bus services. The campus has a big library, auditorium and 2 ambulances for medical facilities.
Faculty: Our exams are very difficult. Out of 60 students from our batch, only 20 students pass out the exams. Our teachers are well qualified and some of them are Ph.D. holders as well and are from IIT's, while most of them have M.Tech degrees from reputed colleges.
Other: The labs are equipped with the latest computer and classes are well maintained.

An enriching college experience with knowledgeable faculty.
Placements: The on-campus placement drive doesn’t usually happen. The job opportunities provided in the on-campus placement drive are very low. Students usually go for off-campus placements. Many seniors have opted for jobs in off-campus placements only. There is not any known rate for the placements of the passouts through this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and labs are well maintained with new generation computers. The hostel facilities are also available for the students from far-flung areas. Also, there is a canteen and a dispensary for the students inside the campus.
Faculty: There are teachers available for every subject, and the permanent teachers usually start teaching from the second year. The first year is totally taught by the contractual faculty. The semester exams are comprised of two exams: one internal mid-semester and another external end-semester. Students have to secure a minimum of 20 marks in both exams to qualify for the next semester.
