Even boys and girls both have mentors in the college.
Placements: After the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Companies like NVIDIA, TCS, and others visit. The highest package is 15 LPA and the average is 8 LPA. The percentage varies from branch to branch, but on average, it remains around 60 percent. Our college offers opportunities for the semester abroad programme.
Infrastructure: In our college, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dasara, and others were celebrated very grandly in our college fest. Subject-wise, there are many books available in our college, and newspapers are also provided every day, along with magazines. In the class, the faculty members use projectors to give presentations and present the project in a practical way. In the college, there are tournaments for cricket, football, kabaddi, and other sports, along with dance clubs. We also have NSS and NCC.
Faculty:
Faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60. The relationship with faculty is good and approachable. The maths faculty is very good and has a very good hold over the subject. There are 2 exams per semester and the difficulty is moderate to hard. About 20% of students fail to clear it. A very good academic place with a lot of qualified professors.

Good placements and nice faculty members.
Placements: About 70 percent of students got placements. 12 LPA is the highest package this year, and the average is about 6 LPA. Students got internships in TCS and Infosys-like companies. Top roles in this course are data analyst, data scientist, software engineer, and full-stack web developer.
Infrastructure: Rooms are neat and really valuable for money. The food is okay. Wi-Fi is good in hostels, but not that okay on college campuses. The labs are well-equipped with i7 processor computers. The medical facilities are available in the college itself and students are encouraged to participate in sports and games.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant. Pass percentage is about 80% this semester. Semester exams are a bit difficult. For some subjects, the syllabus is old and new topics are not included; that is the only problem.
Other: I chose this course to achieve my goal of becoming a data scientist. This course is for the students with the aim of becoming a software engineer, data analyst or data scientist. A scholarship is given to the eligible students.

Life In Vel Tech is average.
Placements: Usually, compared to us, companies prefer CSE students more so placements are less in our department than in the in the CSE department. I think the highest salary package offered was about 22 or 24 lacs per annum. Students do get a wide range of opportunities to do internships in companies.
Infrastructure: Regarding the overall infrastructure, consider it to be in the average range. And about the classes, every departmental class looks different and I cannot exactly describe the classes. They are good. About hostels, the infrastructure differs for every hostel as there are many hostels and the quality of food is the worst.
Faculty: I cannot describe the teachers as a whole; everyone is different. Each one will have a unique teaching method. Some are passionate but some are not. I don't know if the curriculum makes us industry ready but I know that the curriculum is old and still needs to be improved. Semester exams are quite easy to clear if you have good internal marks, which are also easy to get. The pass percentage is 50%.

Life at Vel Tech High Tech
Placements: This college has a good internship and placement history. The highest package ever received is about $100,000, which is roughly 80,00,000 INR. The average package is about 4,00,000. Companies such as HCL, Accenture, Cognizant, Mu Sigma, Staples, Valist, etc., recruit from here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available in our department is good. You'll have a good Wi-Fi connection, and classrooms are neat and clean. Labs are also good enough. The hostel is really good and worth the money. The food quality in the mess is superb. You'll get separate restrooms in a single room, which is really appreciated. Sports and games are in your own hands.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified for your course and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not too rough, and you can easily get along with it. The semester exams aren't too difficult if you constantly pay attention and understand your classes well.
Other: I chose this course because it has a really wide scope in the future. Many events will be held in this college. They'll conduct a yearly annual event named Aavishkar and cultural festivals such as Diwali, Pongal, Onam, etc.

One of the greatest college .
Placements: Students get the offers from the middle of the 2nd semester. Companies like Accenture and Infosys have visited the campus till now for my batch. It started just a month back; we are still waiting for the exams. The placement percentage will be around 80-90% for this course. If more students are capable of clearing the interviews, the percentage increases. Till now, for our batch, the highest package mentioned in the application is 9.5 LPA and the lowest is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The rooms for 1st year are spacious and have good washrooms, high-speed internet, benches, and individual cupboards. 2nd and 3rd years have very small rooms, which lead to poor living conditions, but the hostel culture makes up for it. 4th year has unarguably the best rooms, which are single sharing. The mess food is edible but can definitely be improved. There are special meals on festivals and special occasions.
Faculty: The course of MCA is so good as the course is updated in our college. We have a top-educated faculty in our college, as the faculty have a good and humble nature. They use the best way of teaching and explain each and every topic easily. Every six months, we have our semester exams.

Life at Vel Tech High Tech.
Placements: In my department, mostly 60% of people are placed and the lowest package starts at 2.5 LPA and goes up to 8 LPA. Top recruitment companies like Musigma are all offering high packages and many of them got internships.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities now have new systems so the lab facilities are also good and neat and there is good internet. Coming to library, it's a neat and perfect place to relax by reading books, doing your project, etc. The infrastructure and book collection were awesome.
Faculty: Yes, most of the faculty members have completed ME and Ph.D.s, and they are all so friendly in nature. When it comes to projects, they supervise nicely and help the students choose their domain and till the completion of the project, they support you. They will also conduct placement training classes, which would be very helpful for the students to get their placement.
Other: I'm interested in computer science, so I chose this course and I got this college in my counseling.
