    Good college for better future.
Placements: Eighty percent of students in my course were placed with companies such as Amazon and Wipro. The average package offered was 65,000 rupees. Ninety percent of students got internships, with the top roles being in sales and marketing management.
Infrastructure: Vels University has a unique style of infrastructure that attracts new students. The campus is well-maintained, and the buildings for different departments are separate, which makes it easy to navigate. However, the quality of some of the departments is a bit low.
Faculty: Some teachers are helping-minded, and some are too lazy and rude. They are not even thinking of the students futures. They will not be attentive, and they don't even know how to control students.

Our college provides good infrastructure and teachers.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Accenture, TCS, RR Donnelly, HCL, and Sundaram Finance. Almost 80% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.90 LPA. Few students got placed in companies like City Union Bank and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The canteen is very good. Classrooms are well-maintained. Laboratories are better. The library is decent. Sports and games are conducted in this college. Several books are available in the library. Digital library is also easily accessible by the students.
Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. The core subjects play a major role along with electives in building students' careers.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best about this course is that it helps us to explore the finance industry.

A college that boasts name and fame but is no bite.
Placements: About 70% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest package offered was 2-2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Wipro, TCL, and Accenture. I would say only about 50% got their internships in some small newly set up companies that didn't have a lot of reputation. The positions offered were Business Associate, Assistant Store Manager, Management Trainee.
Infrastructure: There aren't a lot of facilities for the commerce department, which is quite frustrating. The classrooms are small for a class of 60 students, the building is too old; a renovation would do. The hostelers are provided with A/C, beds, washrooms, and the mess's food is okayish but not good. The canteen is a bit on the expensive side. There's only one clinic, common for both the school and collegiate students. There is no club for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified but aren't knowledgeable; the teaching quality is average, with teachers using the local language. Yes, this course is curriculum relevant, but it doesn't make the students industry-ready practically (only theoretical knowledge). The semester exams are pretty easy to crack, and the passing percentage is, I would say, about 75%.
Other: I felt this course was more competitive compared to Science and Arts courses. The best thing is it helps grasp how the economy works in a country. There is a scholarship examination for students seeking it before joining. The college hosts a ton of events throughout the 3 years of this course, and the crowd and connectivity are average, to say the least.

Review of VELS School of Management Studies and Commerce.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our course. The salary offered ranges between Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are HCL and TCS. Almost 50% of students got internships in top companies like TCS and HCL. Top roles offered are data analyst and accountant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with good facilities. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Our classrooms are equipped with projectors. Our college provides chemical lab facilities. The hostel facility is available in our college. The mess and canteen facilities are available for students. A playground is available for cricket and football. Medical facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. They are well trained by our university. Their teaching quality is good. Students are fully prepared by teachers to become industry-ready. Semester exams explore students' careers. It is very ample to test our knowledge level.
Other: I opted for this course to become a data analyst. Our college should improve the roads because there is a lot of traffic in the evening.

    It is a well-maintained college.
Placements: About 40% of students got placed at HCL and Cognizant. Top roles offered in our college are accountant, customer support, and facility management. Many students get internships from our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the hostel is fine. The quality of the food is excellent. Hostels are well-maintained by the staff. The food provided by the hostel is well-cooked. It is served on time. The infrastructure is well-maintained and peaceful for studying.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and talented. Semester exams are tough and test our knowledge and skills. Teachers are very helpful and kind. They provide us with necessary notes that help with our exams. They complete the syllabus on time. It's very helpful for students.

Not that great but a good college
Placements: Not sure about the percentage of placed students as it's final year for us. As of now highest was 7 LPA and lowest was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCA, Accenture. Almost everyone who applied for internship is in Sutherland. Top role is BPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good in VELS. The ground is too small and whole campus is small but classrooms are good and equipped with projectors and some departments have air conditioners. Hostel facilities are great. Mess food would get bored after 6 months. Medical facilities are less inside the campus, sports and games are okay.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good but not upto the mark in some subjects and maybe in other departments not sure. Curriculum is relevant to the course and it makes the students somewhat industry ready. Semester exams are difficult and the percentage of pass is above 90%.
Other: I chose this course because i have interest in economics and investments. Best thing about this course is it's easy to understand and learn. The course should be more real life oriented apart from theories which we'll never use in life. I am particularly not satisfied with the campus life as the campus is mostly crowded. Extracurriculars are good.
