Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.2

Good faculty and difficult infrastructure.
Placements: There are no placement options in the mechanical field at the college. Student performance varies based on their learning and submissions. No student has a percentage between 62 and 70, and many have 80% and 90% or above. This information is correct and provided by me.
Infrastructure: Courses are good, with the best faculty available. All the machinery is available in the laboratories, and everything is explained before you start the practical. Wi-Fi is available in the lab and the Python lab. Medical facilities are available, along with a fully functional canteen. Sports events are held at the college.
Faculty: The teachers are quite qualified and provide a question bank before the examination. Two class tests are taken before your board exams. The exam schedule is sent out one month in advance, and preparation starts three weeks before.

Good structure, good quality.
Placements: Most students land placements in IT firms with an average package of 5.5 Lacs, the highest package being 18 Lacs, and the lowest package offered is 3 Lacs per annum. The mechanical department provides paid internships in core industries, mainly for roles in sales and engineering departments.
Infrastructure: Teachers use PowerPoint for teaching and have practical industry experience. The teaching quality is good and better compared to others. Exams are also moderate with 35 passing marks that are achievable with sufficient study quality and good structure.
Faculty: Teachers are good with better quality of teaching. Mostly, the use of PowerPoint is good. The college is good with proper clean and hygienic washrooms. The canteen food is good with good quality food and a decent environment. Also, the food is reasonably priced with good taste.

Good college for computer engineering department, placements are good and really good facilites.
Placements: I am in my second year at Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic. The seniors at our college have good placement in companies like Infosys and TCS. The average salary that students get is around 8 LPA to 10 LPA and the lowest salary is 6 LPA. The cutoff for the CO department is above 60%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average; the classrooms are neat and clean; the labs are also good; Wi-Fi is limited to labs only; this is a problem. The library is good but the staff arranged for the library is rude in their behavior. Sports are held after mid-semester exams.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and experienced. The course is curriculum relevant and the semester exams are not that difficult as the teachers give a question bank for each exam and also clear up any doubts regarding it. The pass percentage is 35%.

Infrastructure: The college is nice. The infrastructure is not really nice, but the classes include Wi-Fi, projectors, along wug full time access to lab and library. The college phases many sports and technical events. Every year, the college takes the students to campus trips.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, educated and helpful. The course curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are not at all difficult. Even the passing percentage is 90%. The students can easily pass the exams.

Review of Vidyavardhini's Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic College.
Placements: The college does not offer any placements for diploma candidates but some professors recommend companies that have vacancies ongoing. But there are no official placements from the college side for diploma graduate candidates.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel provided by the college. Neither there are any hostels near the college. The infrastructure is quite good with basic facilities like parking, playground, clubhouse, seminars hall, library, labs, workshop, computer lab, and special drawing-room. There is also a small canteen inside the college but I suggest you eat outside the campus.
Faculty: All the professors are highly qualified from renowned colleges and universities. The course is very much relevant and it surely makes students industry-ready. Even the college staff is quite helpful. Exams are conducted on the basis of the MSBTE pattern which is equally tough and with proper management. The minimum percentage is 40% to pass the exam.
Other: There are no as such major functions. But the college arranges annual meet and sports days. Mechanical engineering is always my passion so I am pursuing it. It's all about the machine and automobile industry.

Really good and helpful faculty and the environment of the college.
Placements: In this college, only mechanical department students get placed from the college. Other departments don't get placements. Internships also we have to find on our own. The department refers a few companies for placement or internship. 1/4 of percent of students get placed.
Infrastructure: College has good and well-equipped laboratories. College doesn't have a hostel. Also, it has a canteen with a variety of items at an affordable rate. It also has a mechanical workshop, and the laboratories have Wi-Fi access. The college has its ground where students play sports.
Faculty: Faculty is really the best. They are very experienced, and their way of teaching is also very good and helpful for students. Semester exams are from the MSBTE board, and it has a 70-mark paper, and you have to at least get 28 marks to pass. Students are industry-ready till the end of the course.
Other: The best thing about my course is the practical lectures because it was the time when we used to see what we had studied in theory lectures. Talking about events, it has many social events, cultural events, annual day, etc.
