It is a good and affordable college, but the higher authority teachers' behavior is very bad.

Placements: As the mechanical branch is a highly demanded one and in various industries, it will fill their needs, so a good marine of students get placed, like 60 to 70%. The top recruiting companies for our college are CU-Built Pvt., Ltd., and some more unrecognized companies. Quality inspector role is offered by most of the companies. The highest package offered is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Only 20% of students got internships in this college. Mainly, students get this by themselves onl...

An institute with nice bunch of faculty members who always back the students to grow.

Placements: Very less percent of students were placed from our college. Infact the main reason behind this very less companies come during campus interview! During my batch of 2019 only 3 students were placed. But students are properly trained such that they can crack offcampus interviews.

Review of Vignan Institute of Technology and Management.

Placements: The placement percentage is very low, almost 5-6%. The highest package is around INR 3-4 LPA, and the lowest is INR 1-2 LPA. No well-known branded companies have recruited from here. The internship percentage is also very low, and students often have to find internships on their own. Sometimes, the college doesn't grant permission for internships.

The college has absolutely good studies, placements, hostel, sports and canteen facilities.

Placements: Vignan Institute of Technology and Management, Berhampur, offers campus placements all over India, for all the branches like mechanical, civil, computer science, chemical, electrical, and electronics with good packages.

Really good infrastructure.

Placements: No placement in 2018. We passed out as jobless guy. 90% are passed out. Package is not much high. No recruitment companies came. 80% students went to internship in different multi national companies. One of best college for knowledge but not for placement.

Dissatisfied with the placements and the curriculum.

Placements: The students getting internships in my course don’t get it easy. Also, the placements do not have good companies visiting. The placements scenario is the worst. Companies visiting to recruit offer a maximum of 2.5 to 3 LPA worth of package. In short, no placements are there.

Once upon a time, it was good, but not now. There are no good faculty members and placements.

Placements: The college does not provide placements in our batch. Some few years back, the college was best in our city. Many companies visited our campus for recruitments. But, nowadays placements are totally Nil, and not only in the mechanical branch in other branches also. There was a dedicated placement section with an experienced person who worked as an HR once. But he resigned, and the placement section closed due to which we did not got placements.

Review of Vignan Institute of Technology and Management.

Placements: Students who score more than 50% got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month for HOD. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month for faculty. You only need the mechanical engineering book, scientific calculator and drafter. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered in our course is 1.5 LPA. Students who scored 6.5 CGPA got an internship from our course in companies like Tata, Infosys.

Overall it comes after nist in berhampur so go for second chance.

Placements: If you look the college's history I can't say not at all but regarding me I got a placement in 2015 but when the time came to join the company itself rejected it's joining letter without any proper reason. When our friends went the company's office they knew it's nothing.

Absolutely disappointed with this college bad faculties, bad placements, average infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were really a mess in our college since 3 years. Most of the companies appeared to be fake and only a few existed. Those were Arcotech, Accel Frontline, Mobilloite. Among these I was placed in one. But these all are small and medium range enterprises offering a starting salaries around 10k to 15k for the position of Management trainees and Technical consultant. They will assure you for 100% placements at the time of joining but the reality will be only 30% and that too if you are ...

Manageable infrastructure and good facilities.

Placements: The placements are not worthy. No good companies are visiting the college. Ther are no placements for the senior batch. Students choose to walk-in than the placement provided by the college. The students are good, college doesn't provide good placements but may refer to good companies. 15 to 20% of the students got internships from the college.

Dissatisfied with placements, great faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: During my time I faced only three placements, out of three, one was fake and remaining two were not core companies, this was all for mechanical stream. Coming to other engineering streams, there were some placements more than mechanical. Finally I'll say software companies came.

Good facilities and faculty members but dissatisfied regarding placement opportunities.

Placements: There were't much good placement opportunities. Only 40% of the students might have been placed. The highest salary offered was 20,000, the lowest was 7,000 and the average salary might be 12,000. About 10-15 companies visited the campus. Most of the positions were for a software developer. There were't any opportunities regarding internships. There is a placement cell and the faculty members in charge were helpful but due to some reasons, they could't provide us much help.

Fully satisfied. The college environment is friendly. Anti-ragging zone. Good platform for sports.

Placements: I got placed in an MNC, Bangalore through our campus drive. Around 230 students got placed in the different multi-national company which include like Sapoorji Panolji, mind tree, concentric, Bosh and many more. The salary package is average, and all the placement is possible for our pre-placement training programs.

The college is really good with good value for money and really good faculty members.

Placements: The placements are really good. They usually bring 5 to 6 companies for each course and all are nice ones. Some start-ups and MNCs come for the placements. 70 to 80 percent of the students get placed every year. It much more depends on the students how they perform in their interview period. The average salary offered was 3 lakhs per annum and sometimes even more than that. The placement cell always guides the student on how to crack interviews.

The college is located in a good place.

Placements: Few achievements were achieved within 6 or 7 years. It is a good organisation to study. Some of the companies came and took some amazing students. We were preparing for the placements especially our teachers are focusing on our skills.

In my opinion, our college is the best in Berhampur.

Placements: I did not get any placements because I was not having proper communication skills, but many students were placed through the campus drive. In our college record, many more students have gone for the companies like TCS, Indian Army and much more. Our college provides us with extracurricular activities like sports, tech fest, exhibition, food mela, etc.

I'm quite dissatisfied with everything but the college is going stronger and developing day by day.

Placements: Placement was as pathetic as the companies that visited the campus because only 3 companies had come to college for 2014 and 2015 pass out Mechanical Engineering batch. In 2014, two companies came for mechanical and only 12 students were selected. In 2015, one company named Racebit Oil and Gas came for campus selection, had selected approximately 25 students from various branches, but later we came to know that it was just a fake selection. But for other branches, there were some good companies...

Four years spent but zero output obtained.

Placements: 4 to 5 companies came for the placements but from that, except one the rest were fake companies. The only Bluegape was genuine, but only two students were selected for that, witht the offered salary being 2 lakhs. As of now, no good companies have come, and the two selected students were working as a trainee.
