Off-campus placement was there, but only fewer opportunities are there in the software field instead jobs offered were for the different field with low salary compare to market.

Good infrastructure and nice campus placements.
Placements: Approximately 80% of the students got placed in the software field. The highest package was 6 lacs per annum, the average package was 3 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 1.5 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies were Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, and Flipkart. In addition, 80% of the students got an internship, and the top roles offered were software engineer, front-end developer, back-end developer, and web developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in the department as above average. The classrooms are neat and clean, the library is air-conditioned and well-stocked with books, and Wi-Fi is available in the labs. The facilities in the hostel were acceptable, and medical facilities are available. Sports and games are encouraged for the students.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and highly qualified, but the teaching quality needs improvement. They stick to the books and don't explain things in a practical way. The course curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't prepare students for the job market. The semester exams are moderately tough, and the pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue a career in software and also wanted to do a master's degree. The teaching style needs improvement, but the course curriculum is relevant. The facilities and infrastructure are above average, and the campus is nice.

Vignan's Institute of Engineering for Women (VIEW Visakhapatnam) review.
Placements: The average salary package for our college is 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture and TCS. Most students do not get internships in our college. The top roles offered in our course are web developers. In 2023, most students were not recruited. In 2024, only about 20 students were recruited.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is very poor in our college. The labs are sufficient, but since our college is a women's college, nobody focuses on infrastructure. The size of the class is 65, and classes are conducted very strictly, depending on the department. However, we are not allowed to use the library during class time. We can only use the library during exams and during our assigned library time.
Faculty: The faculty at my college were very helpful and encouraged us to learn by ourselves. They gave seminars to help us understand difficult topics. In 2023, our college became autonomous, which made exams somewhat easier. However, for our 2022-2026 batch, the exams were difficult because they came under JNTU.
Other: I studied information technology at Vignan's Institute of Engineering for Women (VIEW Visakhapatnam). Our branch is small and efficient, and focuses on software. Every year, our college hosts two festivals: TechRitz, a technical festival, and YuvaTarang, a cultural festival. TechRitz is held at our college, while YuvaTarang is a joint effort of the three Vignan colleges: VIEW, VIIT, and VIPT.

Great academic programs and supportive faculty.
Placements: Approximately 50 percent of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 8 lacs per annum, the lowest package is 4 lacs per annum, and the average package is 7 lacs per annum. The top recruiters are Accenture and Tech Mahindra. Many of the people were mostly selected for doing TCS internships for a while. Many of the roles offered for our course are software developer and control engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course and our department get available for any of the reasons and the college is not available for signal and Wi-Fi and the library is very useful for us; they can provide any of the books related to our course. The hostel and mess food is good and sports and games are also available with different equipments

Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful for us in many ways, but teachers cannot provide all the information practically, and during examinations, teachers don't help us to be educated, and assignments and record works are included due to a lack of time. The pass percentage is 35 percent in our college.
Other: This course is used to be selected for government jobs, and the best things can be this is used to be as hardware and software. I want to improve practical knowledge and experience in this course. Events, festivals, and extracurricular activities are performed to make students energetic and to encourage participation in all the events.

The faculty is good, strong placements in final year and the infrastructure is also good.
Placements: The placement percentage is above 60%, with the highest package being 22 LPA, the average package being 4-7 LPA, and the lowest package being 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro. The percentage of students who got internships is above 50%, with companies like Amazon and TCS being among the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: The wifi facilities are poor as they are only available in the library. The facilities in the classrooms, such as fans and benches, need to be improved. The equipment in the labs could also be improved. The library facilities are good. The quality of the food in the hostel mess and canteen is acceptable. The medical facilities are above average, and the sports and games facilities are good.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good and it is relevant and prepares students for the industry by the end of the final year. The semester exams are moderately tough, and the pass percentage is above 75%. Some of the teachers are really helpful, and overall the teaching quality is good.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in coding. However, the course needs to do a better job of preparing students for the industry. The course does conduct events and fests, but the number of events depends on the occasion.

Placements: 1. 60 percent students got placed in course.
2. The highest package is 12 lakhs per annum.
The average package is 5–6 lakh per annum.
The lowest package is 3 lakh per annum.
3. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, Wipro, TCS, etc..
4. 80 percent of students got internships.
5. The top roles are data analyst, IT developer, data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: 1. The facilities and infrastructure available in my course/department are above average; it wasn't that good. The labs were fine, the classrooms were average, and the library was adequate.
2. The quality of the facilities available was not so good but acceptable; the food taste isn't good; it isn't even hygienic; and the sports are encouraging.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are certified, highly qualified and experienced, but they are not able to explain practical, life-time examples.
2. The course is curriculum-relevant and it doesn't make the students industry-ready.
3. The semester exams are moderately tough and the pass percentage is above 80 percent.
Other: 1. I wanted to do a masters in computer science.
2. The things needed to improve are the teaching style and upgrading the labs.
3. Events and fests are conducted thoroughly every month.

Review of VIEW Visakhapatnam college.
Placements: From our department, only 27 out of 67 were placed from campus. Due to recession, the placement rate has lowered down to earth. The highest package was 4 LPA, the least was 1.5 LPA, and the average was 2.5 LPA. But when I joined this college, there were an average of 1200 plus students who were placed.
Infrastructure: Since our college is only for the college is so small when compared to others. Even though it is small, the ambience and infrastructure are pretty cool. There, we will have fresh air all the time because our college promotes greenery. There is a small canteen which provides food at low prices.
Faculty: The exams will be conducted very strictly; there will be no chance for copying the test. The syllabus will be covered before examinations, but the student has to work really hard to get a good score. Recently, our college became autonomous, and importance will be given.
Other: In addition to the above information, I would like to say that if you want to focus on studies without any distractions, this college would be the right choice.
