Is Vijaya Rural Engineering College good for BE/BTech?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Infrastructure: The college has a decent infrastructure, with a large campus, comfortable classrooms, and a well-stocked library. However, some students pointed out issues with outdated equipment in the labs and limited availability of drinking water.

Teaching Quality: The faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, although some students mentioned that not all professors are equally effective in teaching. The curriculum is considered relevant to the industry, but some students felt that it needs updates to reflect modern industrial demands.

Placement Opportunities: The placement scenario is mixed. While some students reported positive outcomes, others struggled to find suitable employment. The college lacks a strong placement cell, and students often rely on self-initiative to secure jobs.

Good college with good environment for studies .
Placements: 60% of the students were placed in the course. At my time, we didn't get any opportunities but now they have too many in my college. It is one of the most valuable course in engineering. We get jobs in government sector and the private companies. They also offer good internships. Top roles offered are junior engineer, assistant engineer etc.
Infrastructure: Don't have any Wi-Fi but the labs and classrooms and library was good. It's a local college so it doesn't have a hostel. The college canteen and other food stores was expensive but food was tasty. Sports, events, parties were good and we could order food from outside like Swiggy.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful and friendly and the teaching quality was good. Absolutely, course content is useful in the future technology. Coming on exams if you got knowledge about subjects, its easy to pass and get good percentage. The pass percentage was 50%.
Other: I want to know how we are using power and how power is generated so I chose the electrical course. There is a need to change the technology in India, now we are using viewable wiring in the cities, villages to be change under ground wiring.

Review of Vijaya Rural Engineering College.
Placements: One can expect to be placed in good company from VREC. In our batch, about 50%-60% of students got placed. It entirely depends on your percentage. The highest salary package that one of my friends got was 9 LPA from Wirpo. The average salary package offered was around 4.5 LPAu20135.0 LPA. Students were placed at many mid-tier to big MNCs like Amazon, Genpact, HCL, HSBC, Google, etc. The overall placement opportunities were very good at this college.
Infrastructure: VREC had a very good infrastructure. The college had a huge campus. It was situated in a remote area. It was somewhat outside the city. The entire campus had Wi-Fi facilities for students. The classrooms were very spacious, and they also had projectors for better learning. The labs were very good, with new equipments and all the things needed in the curriculum. There was a college library where you could get all the books needed for preparation. There was a mess on the campus, where snacks and other food items were available.
Faculty: Faculty members at VREC were experienced and highly motivated. They were knowledgeable because they had good experience. They helped students who did not understand the topics properly. The course curriculum was designed in such a way that students could get theoretical and practical knowledge to become industry-ready. The semester exams were neither too hard nor too easy. The pass percentage was around 88%-89%. .
Other: I chose this course because I liked computers. I wanted to learn more about how they work and how they were designed. I thought this was the best course to enroll in. Some small changes need to be made in the practicals. There were a lot of events and fests like annual fest, freshers' day, fashion show, etc. There were scholarship opportunities from the state and central governments.

The recruiting companies are Samsung, TCS, Microsoft, HPCL, ISRO, Philips, and Reliance. 77% of students placed in this course are from companies like Samsung and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: The facilities in my college are very good. The speed of the Wi-Fi there is good. The library is also very clean, cleaner than the classrooms. The library has very good books. The cleanliness of our hostel is also good. We get good food in the hostel. What party and medical facilities are there? In this board, all the four sports like Kabaddi and many more are organized.
Faculty: Good teachers come to my college, and their qualifications are also very good. We understand them well, and whatever doubts we have, we ask them and understand them well. Yes, this course is relevant for students, and students are ready for the industry. The semester exams are a little bit harder.

Good college for middle class families. Normal Placements, good faculty and library.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed in my Course. Mouri Tech, Gillet Guard, etc. visited for placements. Most of the students were offered as Freshers in Campus Recruitment Companies. The biggest is Rs 3 LPA, the average is Rs 2 LPA and the lowest is Rs 1.8 LPA. 20 to 30% of students got internships in Deshpande Foundation.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were good and there is a wi-fi facility also available in labs. Coming to the classrooms, they were neat and clean. The library facility was good and a lot of different kinds of books were available there. There is no campus hostel in our college but there are a lot of private hostels near my college. Coming to the canteen, we have a canteen in our college with good facilities. The college is green from the inside as well as from the outside. We have medical facilities as well as we have an emergency fire station also available in our college. Coming to Sports and Games, we have a huge ground in our college and I have a lot of memories in our college. Games and sports were conducted at the time of the college fest by the college management.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful in clarifying the doubts. They were well qualified. They have very good knowledge of their own subjects. Their teaching quality was good and very helpful in problem-solving.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with our college.
Placements: None of the students was placed through our college, and there is no campus recruitment. Internship programmes are not conducted as of now. Faculty members are not up to the mark.
Infrastructure: Lab facilities are poor here, and the canteen is not satisfying. There is a lack of books in the library, and the behaviour of the management is not good. Moreover, the equipment in the lab is not sufficient, so they need to update the lab equipment and facilities. There is no drinking water facility, and there is no good environment. Students are facing lots of problems with the management.
Faculty: The teaching quality is poor here. Most of the students are not interested in attending classes because of irregular classes. The course curriculum is irrelevant. Students are not getting what is required. I am extremely disappointed with this course and teaching.

Our college has very good placement record and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered to them was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Main companies which recruit students from our college are Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys and many more. Internships are available for every student of all years in every department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in the library. Every book related to every course is available in the library. We can read books in the library or take books to our home or to the hostel. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel for 24 hours. Classrooms are very clean and neat, and separate benches are available for boys and girls.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified here, and they are PhD holders. They all are available to clarify our doubts at any time and can teach the subjects clearly. We can get the information available in our syllabus and also the information useful to our department. We can get all the updated information about the specific course from the teachers.
Other: I have chosen this course in our college because it is a good college in Nizamabad for electrical and communication engineering.
