Good infrastructure with better career opportunities.
Placements: I'm studying civil engineering, and as of now approximately 60% of students were placed. The lowest package is 1.8 LPA, and the highest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, and Arbee Structures. About 40% of students have gotten internships so far.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi access for all departments, and we have department libraries and a central library. Classrooms are neat and clean and have good ventilation. I'm a day scholar, but I have stayed in a hostel for two days, and the quality of the food is excellent. There are sick rooms in college to take rest.
Faculty: All the teachers have Masters, and they are really qualified to take the classes. They teach with presentations and give notes through the classroom. The course curriculum comprises general subjects in the first year and core subjects in 2 and 3 years. Lessons in our fourth year give us practical knowledge. The difficulty level is moderate, and the pass percentage is about 75%.

Vimal Jyothi is a good college with a peaceful atmosphere.
Placements: My college has a good placement cell which is active. There is a rule that colleges with autonomous status should provide a minimum of 50% placements to their students. However, my college provides 60 to 65% placements. Many companies like TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, and other Bengaluru and Chennai-based IT companies are offering placements. The average salary is 4.5 Lacs per year.
Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure with a peaceful atmosphere and pleasant nature. My college is situated on around 15 to 20 acres. Wi-Fi connections are available 24 hours. We have a big library with a rich collection of books. Every department has separate blocks, and every block has 5 to 6 floors, with excellent labs arranged. Our boys' hostel is situated very close to the college. First-year and second-year students stay together in one hostel, while third-year and fourth-year students are in another hostel. The hostel has a peaceful atmosphere. Hostel fees are 45,000 INR per year.
Faculty: Our curriculum is prepared by the Technical University known as KTU. Our college follows the KTU syllabus and curriculum. The curriculum is average. We have to learn non-core subjects along with our core subjects, such as Chemistry, Physics, Basic Electronics and Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering, etc. Our college's first-semester exam result is around 65-68%, which is a good result among the KTU-affiliated colleges.
Other: Campus life is average. Fewer non-academic programs are conducted by our college. Our college gives importance mainly to studies. Art fest and sports day are conducted, but they are not grand events. The only positive aspect is TechFest, which is conducted every year. It is the only program that brings happiness.

Best in education level and training.
Placements: The percent of students that are placed is about 25 percent, the average package provided is 2.5 LPA, and the top recruiting company is TCS. My department also provided me with an internship in a company related to PLC and SCADA and also provided a mock interview.
Infrastructure: My college has all the best facilities as well as the best lab facilities. Almost every class consists of a wi-fi facility with good network speed and has a large library with a wide range of books and accessories to learn and understand.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and they are ready to clarify our doubts when ever needed, teach us all the subjects very well, make us understand the topic in detail, and conduct exams and assignments so that we can learn the topic much better.
Other: The course EEE has more options in many industrial sector as well as in automation field even though it is a hard course, it provides us with wide range of opportunities.

Strong on Academics, weak on non-curricular; great for marks, not for holistic education.
Placements: 20% students got placed. The packages offered range from 3.4 LPA - 1.4 LPA. TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, Robosoft, Hitachi Private Ltd, Face Prep, Federal Bank, Guide Bank, Gen pro, Qualities, Technologies, Shoba Technologies, Byjus, Wartens, Amazon, etc. are the top recruiters. Junior Engineer Trainee, Software Engineer, Customer support Team, PLC Trainer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi in premises, including hostels. Labs are well-equipped for experiments. Classrooms are well-lit and ventilated, with smart classrooms aiding in topic understanding. Hostels maintain cleanliness, serving varied and quality food prepared in a hygienic mess. Strict Hostel policies ensure safety with CCTV surveillance across campus. Hostel entry is permitted from 6 am to 6.30 pm.
Faculty: The institution benefits from a supportive and qualified staff, both in teaching and non teaching roles. Their teaching methods are commendable, providing students with a deep understanding of the subjects. However the curriculum, which adheres to KTU guidelines, fall short in addressing current and emerging technologies, rendering it somewhat outdated. Despite this, the syllabus is diligently covered, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education.
