Overall, the college is very well maintained.
Placements: I studied at Viva College of Arts, Commerce and Science for 5 years from 11th till my graduation. Viva College is one of the biggest colleges in Vasai-Virar city. Around 20% to 35% of students were placed in B.Com. The top roles offered in this course were by banking and IT companies.
Infrastructure: The college is the biggest in 3 cities, so its facilities are really good. It has a 9 to 10-floor tall building, and it is the tallest college there. On every floor, there are washrooms for students as well as teachers. There is Wi-Fi on the whole campus, like only in the corridor side, and when you go to the classroom, Wi-Fi does not work. There are 4 to 5 big labs, one of them is an IT lab, and every practical is conducted. There are two IT labs, 1 hotel management lab and more. A gymkhana is available where every type of game is played, indoor outdoor both, and also there are competitions every day. The main part was the canteen where all kinds of snacks and breakfast and lunch are sold, and we used to sit there and eat Chinese in the canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and know their work properly. They are sincere and ready to deliver to students what they want to study. They are ready to give the explanation once, twice and even thrice until the students understand. The course which I picked was the best for me. My ma'am helped me choose it and made me understand the subjects and the course. After I took B.Com, my favorite subject was accounts. Exams are hard, but some teachers help us study well.
Other: I took this course because my favourite teacher explained me about the course and subjects, and I loved accounts and all theory subjects except economics. There might be some more point-wise explanation in economics, and the theory subject must be explained from point to point. There were points but more points can be added to make it easier to understand. Events were the best things, and there were all types of events. One of them was a gaming event, where PC game competitions, dota 2, counter strike, etc., were held.

It is a decent college if students are good in studies with new build infrastructure.
Placements: The placements were average for graduates. The average salary package ranges from 1.8 LPA to 3 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Toppr, ICICI Bank, and BPO were few recruiting companies. The role offered was associate level. The percentage of students who got placed was low as many students search for jobs from outside.
Infrastructure: There was Wi-Fi available on college premises, the laboratories were decent. The classroom had a ratio of 1: 120 students. There was a huge library on the ground floor with useful resources. There was no food canteen available in this college, students usually had food from restaurants nearby this college. There was a medical room available in case of emergency. There was a blood donation camp organised by this college. This college had various sports activity including NCC training.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified for the course and helpful. The teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was of this University of Mumbai as this college was affiliated with Mumbai University. The semester exams were moderate, and the passing percentage was 80%.
Other: I opted for this B.Com, because of my interest in accounts. The ratio of students in one classroom can be smaller. The annual fests in this college were held in December every year, and various competition happens frequently in this college. The crowd was average and from a vernacular medium. This college was located at the distance of 2 km from Virar railway station and well connected by road and private transport.

I'm overall satisfied by this college.
Placements: There are approximately 120-130 students per division, and there are 18 divisions for this course. They don't provide placements for this course in this college, and we have to search for jobs on our own.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of this college are great. Classrooms are huge, neat, and tidy. The library also provides books for students of the college. There isn't a hostel in our college. The quality of the food in the canteen is also good. Medical facilities are provided in case anyone is injured. There are games and events conducted every year.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and very helpful. They help us in clearing every doubt we have. They explain every concept thoroughly. This course curriculum is related and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are quite easy but sometimes it is difficult. The pass percentage is a minimum of 45% aggregate.
Other: I chose this course because I was from the commerce field. The best thing about our course is that it has all the subjects like accounts, mathematics, economics, advertising, auditing, business law, etc. I wish this college would have been best if they provided internships and placements to the students of this course. There are lots of events and fests conducted every year in this college but due to pandemics, they haven't conducted any events from the past 2 years. The campus surroundings are well developed.

Review of Viva College of Arts and Commerce.
Placements: The placements are satisfactory. Students get placed with an average salary package of 4 LPA, and the highest salary package is 12 LPA by companies like Morgan Stanley, KPMG, ICICI Bank etc. Overall, the placements of our college are pretty decent. Most of the students get placed with reasonable salary packages.
Infrastructure: I have not opted for the hostel. The accommodation fee is a bit expensive as many foreign students come and study here. But the area around our college is of local people, so you can easily arrange to stay as PGs and flats are affordable and convenient to travel.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good, qualified and highly knowledgeable. Each faculty member has a different way of teaching, but everyone is the best in their own way. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is good and practical, but it can be modified further so that it makes students industry-ready in a better way.
Other: You will enjoy your college life here. The teachers are good, and there is a particular specialisation for each subject you want to pursue CA, CS, banking etc.
