I am less satisfied with the college.

Placements: The average placement rate of our college is almost 96%. Companies from various domains offered placements to the students of particular departments. Profiles offered are management trainees ranging from the financial sector to hospitality. Summer internships are almost 100% with some minor attrition rate.

Review of Xavier Institute of Social Service.

Placements: Placements have gradually been better as compared to the past years for all the departments, especially for finance. There were almost 100% placements for our seniors and with an acceptable salary package for freshers. According to the fees, the return on investment can be considered as good and okay. For other departments, it may not be almost 100%, but the majority of the students get placed through the placement process.

Good return on investment and a top management school under tier2 category.

Placements: Placement was good. 100 percent placement was only achieved in the marketing department. The highest CTC was from HRM I. e 13 Lacs. From Marketing the highest, CTC was 6.66 LPA in India. Most of the companies offered the job in Sales profile in Marketing department. Talking about the college marketing department faculty profile, the faculty profile is not very strong in Marketing department except two or three faculty members. Banks & Microfinance are the major recruiters so anyone who is not i...

One of the renowned colleges in Jharkhand, especially for HR. Marketing has also come up with good placements now. Good faculty and average infrastructure. There is no focus on personality development of students and also management is not so strong.

A good place to study rural management. The Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) was established as an extension department of St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, in 1955 with the objective of training young men and women in Rural Development, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. In 1973 the institute was registered as a separate educational society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. In 1978, it moved to its present site and over the years has developed its own distinct identit...

If you have done your graduation from a reputed institute then opt only for PGDM in HRM. Finance and marketing placements has boomed this year. Opt for PGDM-RM only if you are interested in this sector. You will find the most pathetic crowd in PGDM-RM. For PGDM-RM placement percentage is good but package quality is terrible. Opt for PGDM-IT, if u r interested only in getting a MBA degree because placement percentage is very poor for this particular branch.
