IIT Bombay conducts Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in BDes programme offered by it and other colleges that accept UCEED scores for admission.

UCEED is an online examination of three hours duration that is typically conducted in the month of January every year. Mere appearing for UCEED exam or securing a spot in UCEED rank list does not guarantee admission in BDes programmes. Candidates who qualify UCEED need to separately apply for admission as per the procedure prescribed by IIT Bombay. Admissions in BDes are done on the basis of merit in each category.
