Update on UCEED 2025 Exam 

IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025. The exam will be conducted in a center-based mode and have two parts. Part A will be held in a computer-based mode, will be 120 minutes, and carry 200 marks. Meanwhile, Part B will be conducted offline, carries 100 marks, and has to be completed in 1 hour.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for UCEED 2025?

A:

To appear in the UCEED 2025 exam, the candidate needs to meet the following criteria:

  • Age limit: The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2000. In the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of 5 years.

  • Number of attempts - A candidate is allowed to appear in UCEED exam for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.

  • Academic requirements - The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam in 2024 or 2025. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2023 or earlier are NOT eligible.

Q:   When will the UCEED 2025 exam be conducted?

A:

IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon). 

IIT Bombay has released the detailed admission schedule, including exam dates and application process.

The exam will be conducted in 27 cities aross India. Part A will be offline-based, while Part B will be conducted offline.

The application form commences on October 1, 2024. 

Q:   When will the admission notification for UCEED 2025 be released?

A:

IIT Bombay released the admission notification for UCEED 2025 on October 1, 2024. Candidates can check out the notification online at the UCEED admission portal - uceed.iitb.ac.in.

The admission notification carries updates about the exam, for instance, when will the exam be conducted, the deadlines to fill out the application form, etc. It also contain the eligibility criteria that candidates need to fulfill for admission. The candidate needs to careful go through the admission notification to learn about the upcoming exam, especially if any new update is released. 

The UCEED 2025 exam will be conducted on January 19, 2025.

On exam day, candidates need to bring the admit card and the ID proof. UCEED 2025 admit cards are available from January 3.

The candidate must reach UCEED 2025 exam center at 7 am.

The candidate must have passed a 4-year B.Des program.

  2. Next, shortlisted candidates must appear in a Personal Interview.

Q:   What do I need to know about the UCEED 2025 question paper?

A:

The UCEED question paper will be of 3 hours and include two parts - The computer-based Part A and the offline-based Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the paper. 

Also, Part B paper answer booklets will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A before the declaration of results. 

Part A will include the following types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Multiple Select Question (MSQ) Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). Part A will now include 57 questions.

Meanwhile, Part B will include 2 questions; this includes a sketching-based and an aptitide-based question.

Q:   When will the UCEED 2025 application form open?

A:

The application form for UCEED 2025 is now closed.

The last date to apply with regular fee was October 31; with late fees, applications were accepted till November 18, 2024.

IIT Bombay opened the application form for UCEED 2025 on October 1, 2024.  It also launched a new website and released the admission notification.

The candidate had the option to apply for UCEED 2025 both with regular and late fees.

UCEED application form is for admission to the B. Des programme offered by participating colleges. Candidates who met the prescribed eligibility criteria were able to apply for admission.

Q:   What details I need to know before applying to a CEED 2025 participating institute?

A:

The candidate may note that the counseling application window for CEED is typically short. For instance, for CEED 2024, the counseling registration for the M.Des programme was conducted by IIT Bombay from March 11-28, 2024. So, it is important that the candidate is ready and well-informed.

Before filling out the application form, it is recommended that the candidate downloads the information brochure and goes through the key points carefully. The brochure would have information pertaining to eligibility criteria, documents required, application fee structure, and case certificate. It may be noted that only such candidates who have been assigned a merit rank in CEED 2025 may apply for admission.

Q:   Where can I fill out the CEED 2025 application form?

A:

IIT Bombay will OPEN the  application form for CEED 2025 online at ceedapp.iitb.ac.in/CEED/home.jsp

The form will open tentatively in October 2024.

To apply for CEED 2025 exam, go to the portal and click on the "Register" button. You will have to first get registered, and then proceed to fill out the form. 

The admission notification for CEED 2025 will be released by IIT Bombay on its admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. It will contains information like dates, information brochure, eligibility criteria, exam centres, and other important details candidates need to know before filling out the form. The CEED 2025 application is for admission to the M. Des course offered by participating colleges.

Q:   When will the application form for CEED 2025 open?

A:

The CEED 2025 applications opened on October 1, 2025. The application has to be filled online at ceed.iitb.ac.in.

The candidate can apply with both regular and late fees.

All the details pertaining to the CEED 2025 application form has been updated on the admission portals, including the information brochure. The candidate needs to carefully go through the brochure to check their eligibility. Note that information entered by the candidate at the time of submitting their application form will be verified at the time of counseling. Any candidate who doesn’t meet the criteria will be disqualified.

Instead, candidates who have qualified in the CEED 2024 entrance exam need to apply directly to the participating colleges, including IIT Delhi.

IIT Delhi OPENS the counseling registration process soon after the CEED exam results are declared.

Eligible candidates need to fill out the form, upload documents and pay any applicable fee.

Note that IIT Delhi conducted the M.Des admission process for the 2024-25 session from May 28-30, 2024.
