NIFT Exam Analysis 2019 - NIFT Entrance Exam 2019 was conducted on January 20. Candidates who had applied for BDes course admissions at NIFT campuses had to appear for two tests which were NIFT CAT and NIFT GAT. Authorities conducted NIFT CAT from 10 am to 1 pm and NIFT GAT was held from 2:30 pm to 4:20 pm.
The NIFT 2019 GAT paper was pretty standard, both in terms of NIFT exam pattern as well as the type of questions asked as compared to the previous years’ question papers.
The maximum weightage of NIFT GAT 2019 for BDes admissions was 100 marks. The questions asked in NIFT Entrance Exam 2019 General Ability Test (GAT) were in the following ratio:

NIFT Exam Analysis 2019: Questions asked in Quantitative Ability
For Quantitative ability questions were asked on topics such as:
- Work and time
- Time and speed (questions no trains)
- LCM HCF
- Profit and loss
- Ratio and proportion
- Simple interest and compound interest
- Age questions
- Find the factors of 72
- Simple arithmetic equations etc
NIFT Exam Analysis 2019: Questions asked in English Comprehension
Questions in the English comprehension section were mostly based on interference type of questions.

Overall, the NIFT exam was pretty standard and time was comfortable for the CAT part. If one had practiced past papers well, they would have performed well in NIFT Entrance Exam 2019.
