UCEED Counselling 2020: Round-II of seat acceptance to end today; revised refund policy announced

UCEED counselling process under Round-II of admissions will be closed at 11:55 pm today, July 22, 2020. Along with this, UCEED Admission Cell has released revised refund policy for BDes admissions 2020. The Admission Cell took this decision due to COVID-19 outbreak and to provide students with a chance to get a refund for the fee paid by them after deducting Rs 3,000 as processing fee.

The first seat allotment list for UCEED 2020 was released on July 9 followed by the second admission list that was out on July 19. All the candidates whose names are present in the list need to exercise their option (freeze or float) within the stipulated time.

Candidates who meet UCEED admission criteria need to ensure that they block their seats as per the timelines mentioned in the official website of the exam for BDes admissions at colleges accepting UCEED scores as part of the counselling process.

There are four UCEED 2020 participating institutes which are:

IIT Bombay	IIT Guwahati
IIT Hyderabad	IIITDM Jabalpur

UCEED exam scores are accepted for admission at some result sharing institutes as well. In order to know about the admission process of UCEED result sharing institutes, aspirants need to visit the respective institute’s official website.

UCEED) is conducted by IIT Bombay under the guidance of UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee every year to offer admission to eligible candidates in Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes offered at colleges accepting UCEED scores.
