NIFT Delhi
Admission Through: NIFT Entrance Exam
One of the first National Institutes of Fashion Design (NIFT) set up in India; NIFT Delhi was established in 1986 by “Ministry of Textiles, Government of India in technical collaboration with FIT, New York”.
The building of NIFT Delhi is spacious and possesses creative architecture. The campus of NIFT Delhi contains fully equipped lecture rooms, resource centre, design studios and laboratories as well as activity centres.
NIFT Delhi is the alma mater of famous fashion designers like Manish Arora, Ritu Beri and Rohit Bal.
Pearl Academy, Jaipur
Established in 2007 by Ex-President of India, Shrimati Pratibha Patil, Pearl Academy Jaipur is spread over an area of 3.28 acres. Known to have state-of-the-art campus, Pearl Academy Jaipur was awarded the “Best Learning Building” at the World Architecture Festival Awards in 2009.
Located amongst the majestic Aravali hills, Pearl Academy Jaipur campus has extremely advanced and well equipped Jewellery & Gemology Labs.

NIFT Mumbai
Located at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Mumbai was established in 1995.
NIFT Mumbai is known to have state-of-the-art infrastructure because it has high quality lecture rooms. The college also has well equipped computer labs and class rooms. “Apart from the academic infrastructure, students have been provided with a recreation centre, world class Gymnasium and Indoor & Outdoor sports facility”, informs the official website.

Set up under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India in 1986, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bangalore is one of the most popular fashion design colleges in the country.
The college campus at NIFT Bangalore is extremely spacious and the architecture of the college building is quite creative. NIFT Bangalore has a fully equipped campus with state-of-the-art lecture halls, design studios and labs, activity centres, gymnasium and hostels.
NIFT Bangalore’s resource centre was established in 1997. The resource centre at the college is well –equipped with “books on fashion industry, CD ROMs, periodicals, research reports (like graduation projects craft documentation fashion industry market survey reports) and latest colour/ forecast services, sample material collections etc.
Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune
Spread over an area of 80,000 sq ft, Symbiosis Institute of Design at Pune was set up in 2006. The campus of the college contains state-of-the-art design studios, labs, workshops, rapid prototyping lab, IT infrastructure, well-equipped class rooms, library, conference hall, exhibition areas, seminar hall etc.
Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) has an amphitheater and academic plaza wherein various events can be conducted like design shows. The college also has a fully-air conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 585 people.
