As an accessory designer, one is expected to first of all research the current trends and thereafter predict which accessories will help make the fashion statement in the upcoming season. After this, an accessory designer creates sketches of products they want to create, these can be hand sketches to start with but ultimately most accessory designers create sketches using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
After this, accessory designers make prototypes for their accessory and further make modifications for the same before giving the product for production.

Brand Managers
A brand manager who has pursued accessory design as a course is expected to fulfill the sales objective of his/her brand/firm. Lifestyle Product Managers
Candidates who work in such a job profile need to closely work with separately with designers, sale and marketing department, quality control department etc., to ensure that the product produced by the firm is as per the listed brand guidelines. Apart from this, a lifestyle products manager needs to regularly conduct market research and ensure that the product produced by his/her firm is in line with the market demand. A lifestyle products manager is also responsible for determining the price range at which a product should be made available in the market.
Lifestyle Products Entrepreneurs
The tasks performed by a lifestyle entrepreneur are similar to that performed by a brand manager. The only difference being that a brand manager would be working for a designer or a bigger firm whereas an entrepreneur would be working on his own lifestyle product line.
