Apart from this, the CEED exam tests the ability of aspirants to draw, illustrate and observe individuals/objects and replicate the same. The exam also tests an individual’s mental ability and logical reasoning skills.

The duration of CEED 2017 is three hours and it is divided into two exams, that is, Part A and Part B.

Part A of CEED exam is computer based test which is of one hour duration. Part A, typically comprises of questions from three categories, which are:

  • MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • NAT (Numerical Aptitude Test): has questions involving basic calculations and reasoning)
  • MSQ (Multiple Selection Questions): requires the aspirants to mark as many correct answers as may be given to a question which may or may not have multiple answers

Explaining further about the different types of questions asked in CEED, as you must already be aware that in MCQs one is expected to select the correct option from a list of four options. In NAT section of CEED exam, the basic calculating and reasoning ability of an individual will be tested whereas in MSQs one has to mark as many correct answers that a question can have from the options provided.

The Part B of CEED 2017 is a paper based exam wherein the designing aptitude as well as drawing skills of a candidate is tested.

Note: Part A test of CEED 2017 is just a screening exam. So, CEED’s Part B answer sheets of only those candidates will be evaluated who perform well in Part A of the exam. Further, the scores of Part B of the exam will form the basis on which CEED 2017 merit list will be prepared.
