Style and Design Summer 2011 by IMS - Design & Innovation Academy

Objective

We plan to hold two day of style & design during the festival "heat the beat, which will be held on 4th and 5th June 2011 at the epicenter of all activities ‘The Great India Place mall'

Under Style and  Design  Summer 2011 by IMS, we plan to bring rich and diversified selection of style & innovative design to the masses at the same time give them a reason to celebrate fashion & creativity this summer with us, right from an entertaining showcase of best looks for the season to encouraging creative spontaneity, we intend to make it a gala event full of fun and frolic for all.

Style and  Design  Summer 2011 by IMS also give the audience an insight on latest fashion trends & styles, letting them explore the creativity with in and help them give the fresh look for the season they have been looking for - be it their personal fashion statement or their personal space - enthusing their life with creativity and innovation.

Day's Activity Brief

• A day focused at showcasing the best looks for the season putting together a selection of ensembles from all the retailer at TGIP and project the best looks and styles,
• A real extravaganza of glamour, fashion & style enthused with creativity and design excellence.
• 2-days dedicated to design, styling, costumes, props, visual, glitz, paparazzi and flamboyance

Itinerary

Graffiti Wall competition

• Time :3:30pm
• A flex wall put for people to explore their graphic skills live, with paints, graphic collages, paper cutouts, glue & ink.. The artworks created can be used by the mall for visual display for the following week.

Styling workshop " create your drape"

• Time :4:30pm
• An open forum interactive event, which lets the audience explore the creativity with in, let the audience look at the other side of fashion and apparels,. Lets them play with fabrics, paper, beads and other material and try something hands on and carry a picture of their creation home with them.

Personal styling consultancy

• Time : 4:00pm onwards
• An extensive styling session will be going on around the ramp stage where in retails can display their best collections, and our stylists can interact with the audience and help them with their personal styling.

Dream makeover sessions

• Time : 3:00 pm - 8: 00 pm
• Creative makeover sessions to volunteer clients who will then get the opportunity to be on the ramp for the grand finale.. and flaunt their new look across the audience.

Style your space 

• Time : 4:00pm onwards
• Give your personal space the much needed style that suit you well, free consultancy from our stylists on you can give you space a new uplift and people interested can book personal appointments for further styling assistance during these two days.

Fashion show - "showcasing the best looks for the season - Trendsetter's choice"

• Venue : Near to the revolving entrance
• Time : opening at 5:30 pm
• A ramp walk showcasing the best looks of the season - part 1 on day 1 & part 2 on day 2, products selected from the all the retails at the mall will be on display, and all the brands would be announced as the model walks the ramp.
• A ramp walk showcasing DIA's concept collection - part 1 on day 1 & part 2 on day 2
• The ramp walk would be repeated 4 times with last one being the grand finale showcasing Best looks & DIA's collection at intervals from 5:30 pm onwards
