UCEED 2016 Result: First Admission List Released

IIT Bombay has released the first UCEED 2016 admission list on July 4, 2016. Aspirants can check the first admission list on the official website of UCEED 2016.

UCEED authorities have shared that if seats remain vacant then the second seat allotment list will be declared on July 7 followed by Round 3 of Seat Allotment that is scheduled to be conducted on July 11, 2016 (if vacancies exist).

The first admission list shared by IIT Bombay the registration number, reservation category details as well as UCEED AIR.

Aspirants are informed that selected candidates will be sent provisional UCEED admission letters on their registered email address.

UCEED 2016 results were declared on February 28, 2016. Aspirants could check their UCEED result by signing in on the official website of the exam with their – Registration number (of 10 characters) and their roll number.

The scorecard of candidates who had qualified UCEED exam were made available on the official website from March 7, 2016 onwards. Candidates were informed that no hardcopy for UCEED scorecard would be sent to qualified students.

The UCEED 2016 official website informed: "In the final evaluation, the two questions (Question ids 539648227, 539648238) both of which had image display problems for many candidates, are dropped. No marks (including negative marks) are awarded for these questions to any of the candidates".

Aspirants were advised to provide their correct email ID and phone number in the application form. Apart from this, candidates were asked to save their password and UCEED application ID which they later had to use to check their UCEED 2016 result, as well as to download their UCEED scorecard.

Candidates were further informed that obtaining a rank in UCEED 2016 did not guarantee admission in BDes programmes. “UCEED qualified candidates will have to apply separately for admission as per the prescribed procedure. Admissions shall be made in order of merit in each category”, informed the official website.

Thus, after securing a rank in UCEED exam, each candidate had to apply separately at the colleges accepting UCEED 2016 rank for admissions. After applying at the respective colleges, aspirants had to further fulfill the admission criteria as listed by the college wherein the candidate wanted to secure admission.

UCEED 2016 was conducted by IIT Bombay on January 17, 2016. UCEED exam was held across 14 test cities in India.
