CEED exam is divided into two parts – A and B. Part A of the exam is used as a screening test. The official website informs: “If ‘N’ is the total number of seats available in a particular category for all the participating institutes, then approximately 10XN candidates for that category will be shortlisted using Part A”. But this process will only be followed provided the candidate scores the minimum prescribed marks or more in Part A of CEED exam.

Further, candidates are informed that Part B answer books for CEED 2017 would be evaluated manually for candidates who are shortlisted basis their performance in Part A of the exam.

Also, Part B scores will only be used to prepare CEED 2017 merit list.

As part of the results, candidates are provided their CEED score. Aspirants are informed that CEED 2017 score would be valid for one year from the date of declaration of result.

Once the result for CEED exam is declared, candidates can download their score card from the official website. Aspirants are informed that no separate hard copy of CEED scorecard would be sent to them under any circumstance.

Candidates need to note that qualifying CEED does not guarantee admission in any of the colleges that accept CEED scores for admission. Thus, after CEED 2017 results are declared candidates need to contact the colleges that accept CEED scores on their own by filling a fresh application form. Once this is done candidates need to fulfill the admission requirements as listed by the specific college like written test/interview in order to secure admission in the college/course of their choice.
